My family moved to Ossining in 2014 and my children started at AMD that fall.Nothing but great experiences for the 3 years we have been here. The teachers are wonderful and the students my kids have made friends with are just as wonderful.

nothing but great things with AMD , My 7th grade daughter is excels both academically and socially . All teachers are top notch!

My child was anxious about Middle School. However, she has excelled this year. I love the school , the administrator and most of all the teachers.

We moved to this school district in 2011 with our children. AMD has amazing teachers who work closely with our children preparing them for their future. My child has a 504 due to medical disorder and all the teachers worked with work with my child to make sure she didn't fall behind when she missed days. She is in the honors program and has been able to make high honor roll every quarter. The teachers make themselves available for extra help child is struggling. Not only do they have a great academic program but they have many other activities available for children who are not athletic. This school was rated to have the best music program 5 years in a row by the National Association of Music Merchants. My daughter loves her school and I couldn't be happier to have moved to a school where a diverse classroom is the norm. Further proof that our schools set a strong foundation for learning is the fact the past few years the most students at the Intel Science Awards for the past several years. My child is consistently told she can do anything she sets her mind to and she does every day.

AMD offers a unique opportunity for kids to grow, learn and connect with a great variety of students. If a child is motivated, she or he will be very busy! With our kids coming of age in a global community, I can't think of a better public school to prepare for that than AMD.

I'm a former middle school teacher with a Masters degree in early adolescence education. My daughter is finishing sixth grade at AMD, and the team of teachers she's had have done a good job creating a caring, collaborative environment. Academics are adequately rigorous, and socially they do a tremendous job creating a singular community identity out of a very diverse group!
