I have searched high and low for a school that would go beyond education and treat/care for my kids just as I would and I FOUND CHILDRENS HOUSE!!! My career requires me to travel and often impromptu meetings etc. but the staff and team always works with me and are very responsive as well as supportive. I couldn’t have asked or found a better school in this area!!Each investment is worth it for what your children get prepared for with basic life skills, out of box thinking, outside activities and treating others with respect!Love this school!!

Our experience at The Children's House has been fantastic. My son has attended the school for four years, and his teachers have exceeded my expectations in every way. They have certainly provided an excellent education, but they also have all been genuinely interested in knowing my son personally, and that means a lot to me. I like that the class sizes are small with enough teachers. My son loves the school, and I can't recommend it highly enough. I've been thrilled with our experience.

We love the Children’s House of Ormond Beach! The teachers and staff cultivate a personal relationship with each child and family. A inclusive, welcoming culture is also cultivated between the children and families themselves. The teachers work tirelessly to meet each child’s needs and help them to be successful in their individual skill sets. The classroom environment allows for the child to be challenged yet successful in their learning, at their own pace. The learning standards are high, but the teachers are supportive in helping each child reach those standards. The physical classroom environments are also set up to support learning in a peaceful environment.

Our experience at Children's House has been exceptional. The teachers are truly invested into our daughter’s education and her growth in all realms. Adjustments are made as needed to meet the needs of the student. Small class sizes and leveled learning has enabled our daughter to gain confidence in her learning abilities. Due to their pre-primary program our daughter was able to get in at the age of 3! I love the transparency and the love you feel as soon as you walk in. The children's house is part of our family now. The school feels full of love and inviting. Last but not least, the school holds a level of cleanliness like no other. Thank you Children's House, I wish you nothing but the best as you provide the best for our children

This is the absolute BEST school in the Daytona Beach area!! They have a caring and professional staff with teaching and elementary education backgrounds as well as some instructors with a specialty expertise in early childhood development. Everyone a The Children's House makes that extra effort to help my daughter get the most from her lessons each week. This is a structured and highly creative atmosphere that I feel is one of the fundamental reasons that my daughter has excelled. After trying several other local schools, I'm grateful that we finally found a school that is dedicated to educating the children rather than just acting as a "daycare" facility. I can't say enough good things about The Children's House.

This is a great school with phenomenal teachers. The type of people that go above and beyond to make sure your child is not just doing well, but thriving. The staff truly care about their students as people and strive to go above and beyond. The smaller class sizes promote more 1 on 1 learning and multi-age classrooms provide learners with a diverse set of peers to learn from and grow with academically, socially, and emotionally. Our children especially enjoy the hybrid learning approach which blends Montessori with traditional schooling methods, allowing them to take a more hands on approach with their lessons.

This school doesn't practice pure Montessori. They use some of the montessory materials but don't follow all of Dr. Maria's Montessori ideas and methods. They incorporate much of the traditional method in regards to behavioral management and teaching methods. They don't follow the multi age classroom organizational guidelines since they separate their kindergarten class. There is no yoga or spanish as advertised and they have no resources for students with disabilities or gifted.

My child has been here her entire life. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My 2 children are currently attending this school for the first year. I have been unschooling them and they have attended another Montessori school. Unfortunately that did not work out. The Children's House has been the perfect place for my children from day 1. They are excelling both academically and socially, they love their teachers who they say are "funny, but strict". Their confidence is soaring and both kids are proud to share what they learned that day. Teachers and directors are available in case I have questions or concerns. I feel the teachers are truly connected to the children, I know my children feel very connected to them. To me the most important aspect is that my children love going to school, every single day. They enjoy learning new things and love their teachers. I am truly grateful we found The Children's House and would totally recommend this Montessori school to any parent.

"I was a student at The Children’s House Montessori from preschool until 5th grade. This school has one special factor that can’t be found in any other school, and that factor is the care of the teachers. Every teacher at the Children’s House cares for their students in a way that can only be matched by the students' parents. The Children's House helped me build a solid academic foundation by providing amazing individualized education, with specialized methods and materials. This gave me a head start compared to most other students when I started middle school. It has been over 4 years and I am still remembered by every teacher at the Children's House Montessori. The Montessori was a great experience and I am very happy that I learned and grew up in this school"

I am an ex teacher, have a B.A. in teaching, and have substituted in many schools. I am not easily impressed and have very high standards for my children's education. This place is the cream of the crop. Now on our 4th or 5th year there and thanking God everyday for The Children's House and it's amazing staff!

In response to the review. We are sorry you were disappointed with your experience. We strive for academic excellence and nurture the social and emotional development of each child . However, we can not have a child skip a grade based on a parents request.

I feel so lucky that we found this school when our daughter was so young. She’s had the opportunity to develop academically, emotionally and socially here for the past 5 years and we’re very impressed. The small class sizes, skilled teachers, and individualized approach to learning is so unique.

Extremely disappointing. The school has potential but if your child is gifted do not rely on this school to help them reach their potential.

Both my children attend the Children's House school. One is in pre-k and the other in the elementary. We can't be happier with the unique education our kids are getting, combining the Montessori way with the traditional way of teaching. The teachers are awesome, loving, caring...
