This school has come a LONG way from what it used to be. The new principal has made many changes in tackling negative behaviors. Tangelo Park also has various family night events where students with their parents are welcomed to join and partake in wonderful activities and meet the faculty and admin. Students feel safe and welcomed in the school. Go to the school and get acquainted with the staff, you won't be disappointed!!

Extremely horrible experience. I do not recommend you send your children here. There are daily fights, lots of bullying, foul language used and many of the teachers/staff do nothing about it. The children are below grade level and the test scores are outrageous. Many other parents are pulling their kids out of this school next year.

Me.duele como padre querer tener un mejor nivel para mis hijos y ver como la educación y el respeto no es llevado en esta escuela con mano dura .

I attended Tangelo Park Elementary from K- 6th grade and lived in the community. Not only was my learning experience great but the social events were equally amazing. We had such a strong sense of family and pride. We had loving, tough teachers who taught us not to accept failure but to always strive to do and be better. Our PTA was fantastic at organizing fund raisers, socials, recitals and community based events. That was such a memorable time in my life. It showed me how to be more involved as a parent in my own children's education and academic experiences. I am so proud to be a Tangelo Park Tiger!!!

I enjoy having my kids in this school. They get the help they need. It's a great school and the staff is wonderful.

Inspiration, leadership, setting goals and the highest standards, and giving you the tools, knowledge and patient guidance to get there. This what I hope for by putting my child in tangelo park elementary . I did not get for her ms. woods was the worse teacher that I ever met . she put the blame on the caretaker for her down fall as a teach. she will be little you and your child over and over again. this woman made my child hate school, crying to me and saying please don't make me go and see her "ms.woods makes fun of me in front of everyone" and even told her that she would never get out of the second grade if you love your child DON'T PUT THEM IN TANGELO!!!

we moved south for cultural diversity, not culture SHOCK. my child is the only white student in her kindergarten class. at the beginning of the year, she cut her own hair so the other girls wouldn't touch it. a boy in her class broke her brand new birthday necklace and because no adult witnessed it, nothing was done about it. the principal is rude and takes all criticism against the school personally. we are moving before the next school year just to get my daughter in a new school. WORST public school experience EVER!
