My child has been in this school since Pre-K and I am so Thankful for all the wonderful opportunities my child has had with having an I.E.P and all the help that he has gotten throughout the years. Great teachers, staff and each year they try to come up with different methods to make the school safer for our Childrens and the car line to go by faster. I highly recommend this school to every parent in Orange County.

They are extremely rude and unprofessional. Not to mention teachers don’t respond at all. I can honestly say that everyone I have encountered at that school has been so disgustingly rude for the exception of one teacher. If my children had the option to attend a different school I would run.

I would rate my experience at this school 5 stars from back in 2007 when my oldest daughter & 2009 when my son went to this school for all 6yrs to now my youngest daughter who is in 2nd grade & has been going since kindergarten (2016-2017). Dr. Hanniff is AMAZING!

This school is by far one of the most efficiently run schools. I think leadership pays a huge part but having a very active PTA and parent participation helps. Parents are encouraged to participate, the PTA does an amazing job including the families in fun events.

As an ESE educator and advocate for the past 20 years and the mother of a child with special needs, I have extremely high expectations when it comes to providing an appropriate public education. I am pleased with the education my daughter is receiving at Cypress Springs and, coming from me, that speaks volumes!

We are a new family here and my children came from a very good private school. I was weary at first but my encounter with the registrar changed everything. She assured me that the scool is a large family and everything will be alright. I was also thrilled to notice that the front desk staff was very welcoming. The school is very focused on the kids and their families. There is always an activity for us to participate in. Whether it is Breakfast fo Dads, or Movie Nights or Evening Reading acvtivities, there are all kinds of occasions to interact with staff and PTA as well as other parents. I like that Mrs. Olsen, my KG teacher is so organized and creative. I am also grateful that Mrs. Wiggins has so much patience and compassion. I absolutely love CSE; and I never thought I would be saying that about a public school but is totally true. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Very nice newer facility. Overall excellent staoff but showing the same signs of burnout and stress most teachers with today's restrictions and limitations all public school teachers are encountering have which is reflected in their students. Unfortunately they must follow the new Common Core standards that severely limit children's education to what will be on the test. There is also no regular recess for all grades forcing many children to spend their entire day in structured activity with no free play and limited opportunities to learn important communication and negotiation lessons children get with unstructured play. The school breakfast/lunch program is the same highly processed, pretty dreadful food that all children in Orange County get.

Cypress Springs Elementary is a pretty good school. Unfortunately the receptionist staff is not very good with the phone usage. Calls are dropped or go unanswered. Staff is constantly unavailable or wont return calls. The teachers are exempt who do a great job contacting parents. The current receptionist staff from 2012 - 2014 is difficult to deal with. Unable to separate personal feelings from their professional behavior. Or, this school needs to fix their phone lines, cant get in contact with the staff our children.

This school is great! It is definitely above average. They keep it neat and clean. The staff is helpful and nice. The kids that go there are nice and caring as well. All the kids get along and they help each other regardless of their age. I like having my daughter in this school because it is an active school that keeps the parents involved in everything. So many activities for the kids and the parents!
