This is my personal experience at Sycamore being a parent. My child has been at this school for a few years so I have had an opportunity to get a feel how the school handles discipline, complaints, and other situations. My child had a job share teachers for one year. One teacher was approachable and answered my questions while the other one was rude and snotty. I made it a point to have no contact with that teacher. Remarks on my child's report card were unnecessary, I dont need to be reminded how many days my child has missed due to illness. Nit picking on the dumbness things just to put a negative remark. Even though my child is an honor roll student. I had issues with BULLYING and DISCIPLINE , its handled very poorly at this school from the administration. My child has had a few teachers that were great. Their approach and style to teaching was fantastic. This is a tough job and applaud some of the teachers my child has had.

Terrible school with aids and teachers as bullies to students with disabilities. Horrible school, seriously enroll else where!!

I had one child at Chapman Hills and one at Sycamore. I am extremely pleased with the education my child is receiving at Sycamore. I have pulled my child from Chapman Hills and sending all 3 to Sycamore. The drive up the hill was not worth it! I also don't mind that my child falls into 4% minority. It teaches them diversity. Erica Krone runs an excellent school.

Both my Grandaughter and Grandson attended and graduated from Sycamore and I can honestly say they are above average in academics taught at this school. The teachers always gave homework and truly cared about the students achievements in the classroom, and as citizens during and after school. I highly regard Sycamore Elementary School as one of the better schools in the Orange Unified School District.
