Students learn best when there are small classes. While the school lacks some of the amenities of larger schools, it far surpasses in academic success. My child is well prepared for the rigors of a private high school.

Squaw Valley Preparatory offers private school quality education at a public school. Small class sizes support meaningful relationships between students, staff and the community at large. The out-of-the-box thinking and planning of teachers and students together ensure learning takes place. Students apply their academic experiences to the world at large. I appreciate this option in my community which enhances student drive and performance. Most importantly my daughter and her peers feel valued and heard.

Squaw Valley Preparatory is a gem of a school. It is at the base of Squaw Valley which ignites students' passions for nature and the great outdoors. I am thrilled that this opportunity came about for my daughter who appreciates being heard and appreciated for her thoughts and ideas. She has developed and grown immensely as a learner and a community member because of her experiences at this excellent school! -a Parent

Squaw Prep offers a nurturing yet challenging work environment. All students are empowered to make decisions about their learning in a way that I have not experienced in the public or private school systems. The parents are truly invited to be partners in learning. The school uses "school pathways" to post student and class information. The implementation of WEB enabled studies helps with foreign language, math practice, and all other subjects. Cross platform teaching and Community Service are present in this growing school. The school also offers a flexible work week. If you have a student athlete (Dancer, Skier, Skater, gymnast, equestrian), the flexible schedule will enable your child to benefit from a top quality education as well as train and compete at a top notch level. With any program, you get what you put in. My family expects to get a lot. We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a rich learning environment.
