    Disgusted to say the least. Would not ever recommend. You want your child to go anywhere in life this ain't the place to start.

    Best word to describe this school is: Toxic. Administrators are not looking out of the best interest of the students, and only care about graduation rate, and numbers. Teachers are encouraged to cater to the needs of IB Students; yet neglect those of traditional students. Guidance counselors lack enthusiasm when helping students work toward reaching their educational goals. I’ve experienced disciplinary harassment for not being able to afford a parking pass. Which resulted in me begging to transfer to Florida Virtual school mid semester until graduation- to avoid possible/likely continued threats and harassment from the disciplinary office. I will Never forget the horrors of this school and how they failed me as a student.

    I just started high school and Vanguard is a good school. I have all As and Bs and my GPA is higher than a 3.0 so I would recommend Vanguard. There might not be a lot of smart people but it's a good school for people living in Ocala. My friend goes to Lake Weir and he is failing two classes so yeah I wouldn't wan to go there for sure.

    i was a student at vanguard in 76 it is a great school i live in kentucky now i became a professional wrestler for 20 yrs and i still say it is a great school
