The teachers and administration truly love the students and care about their education. My child's education and behavior toward school has changed for the better in the last three years.

It was wonderful in the beginning and then took a turn for the worst. I pay well over 200$ a week for my kids to go to MMA classes. My youngest has been bitten more then 10x the last being on her ear leaving bruises and scrapes that bled. My oldest has been pushed face first into a chair busting her lip, she has been pinched. My youngest started getting sick all the time when she moved to the 1 year old room, busted ear drum, throat so red she was out of school 3 days, come to find out when i went to pick her up, they were in the playground and i asked for her binky. well as i went in the class room to get it i opened the cabinet to find that the Teacher in the 1 year old room was mixing all of the 1yr olds binkys and Nun of them were labeled and all laying on the shelf in the cabinet all the same color.... so how do you tell whos is whos ? your sharing germs and my child is always sick. So basically i pay for my children to get beat up all day.

My son has been attending FACS since his kindergarten year 2009-2010 school year. His teacher in K5 was the most amazing teacher I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with in my life, she made some of the most amazing differences in my son academically as well behavior wise. My son did/does struggle academically in reading/language arts subjects, which did result in him having to be held back in kindergarten. His teacher spoke with me extensively through his first year to help me see that it would be in my sons best interest in the future to hold him back now rather than later on in his school career. She said it was completely up to me, that we could advance him to the 1st grade but his struggle will get harder and harder , that at some point he will be held back, at that point it would affect him a lot more socially. So we repeated a wonderful, productive, and prosperous year with the same wonderful teacher . My wish would have been to have this teacher for his whole school life. First and second grade went well, with only a minor incident. Third grade things changed drastically. My son went from a kid who absolutely loved school, never wanting to not have to go to school into a kid who dreaded every day. There are so many things that I could go on and on about of things I'm unhappy about regarding our school experience. Now half way through sixth grade, I am at the point where I am seriously looking into other possible schools. I really want to stay in the Christian school system, yet after reading many of these reviews on this website I'm very conflicted. I pray God leads me right decision for me and more importantly my son. I strongly feel the Lord has showed me enough signs that this is not the environment we are meant to stay in!! Prayers please

My daughter started attending First Assembly two years ago after two horrible experiences at other local day cares. Since she has been at First Assembly she loves it! When we pick her up at the end of the day she gives her teacher a hug and almost always insists on hugging the front office staff. The emphasis that the staff place on God has also been a blessing. 5 stars to First Assembly!!!!!!! Sincerely, two grateful parents.

I have two daughters that attended this school. Both received an excellent Biblical and academic education from highly qualified and certified teachers. The focus at this school is God, building a solid academic education and preparing students for everyday life. I never had an issue that was not promptly addressed and the staff treated me like family. If you want your child to grow academically and Biblically, send them here!
