My son has been at Montessori for almost 2 years and he has flourished in so many ways. The teachers are wonderful and the staff is supportive , amazing , and respectful to one another as well as to the children. I am so amazed at all he has learned in such a short amount of time at being at Montessori prep! He loves coming to school everyday and as a parent , when my child is happy , I'm happy! The teachers and staff are like a family and go above and beyond for anything you need ! I couldn't have chose a better school for my son. I strongly recommend this school for future parents :)

We had an aweful experience with the administration. There is no communication what so ever. I called and scheduled an appointment to take a tour a week ahead, and then received a phone call two hours before the appointment saying can you come at another time? My husband had to leave his work to attend on time but they did not respect our time. That day I received a call saying that they have a space for my son so I scheduled another appointment to go pay them, and after driving 30 minutes , they told me we do not have a spot for your son! They took someone else because of miscommunication on their end! For a well known and a very expensive school you would expect a better organization and communication. Unfortunately I wasted my time.

Our daughter has been at this Montessori Prep school since she was 3 years old, she is now 11. It is so much more than a school, its a family. Paulene (the director) and all the women who teach the children, not only give them an excellent start in education with a challenging curriculum, but also teaches them life and social skills. Our son went to Montessori Prep, when he was younger, now he's 18 and graduating with honors, and going to attend Law School at UF. I give much credit to Montessori, helping him to develop good academic habits, and being in a loving environment, that let him be free to create and be himself. Our daughter's Standford testing results are in the middle and high school levels, and she's in 5th grade. Montessori teaches them be confident in who they are, and I know in my heart, any of the teachers would protect my child with their life and being a mom, the peace of mind I have when I drop her off everyday knowing that she is safe, is priceless. I am truly going to miss this school, when our daughter goes to 6th grade. I want to thank Paulene, Angel, Sandy, Gurpreet, Marisol, Suzette, Ingrid, Madi, Rosario, Amallia, Patricia and all the others who have treated my children as their own. I am forever grateful to all of you.Danielle ComasParent at Montessori Prep School of Ocala

The Montessori Method works!!! I am a teacher here and look forward to coming to school each day. My granddaughter also is a student and I want the best education for her. Don't take my word for it, come and take a tour and see for yourself.

I have found this school, teachers and staff are wonderful. My child is in an environment where she feels safe and loved. I love the methods used in teaching. I wish they provided meals but the curriculum and staff are great. I have not had any fears for my childs safety and feel the school handles discipline fairly as far as I have seen. Great family feeling as far as I am concerned.

I have mixed reviews: From PreK - K this school is awesome. The children are exposed to so many different things to learn and your child can excel at their own ability. The teachers really love the children and they thrive. 1st-5th, I am not wild about the teachers (i'm not even sure they like children). The amount of home work is crazy! Homework on top of all the book reports, projects and reading counts. It's truly overwhelming! Many of the projects are clearly far to advanced for a 6 or 7 yr old. (obviously the parents are doing most the work, it's kind of a joke). My friends and family have children the same age going to Magnet Schools and "A" rated schools and they don't have near as much. Administration: One thing that really rubbed me the wrong way was when a child brought bullets to school (old enough to know better) and the administration did not even suspend the child. What message was that sending to the other children?? That there is no consequences for such behavior?!?! Heck, if you forget your homework you are denied recess but if you bring bullets "No problem!" So this school has wonderful qualities and some not so wonderful.

I regret choosing this school--was impressed with another Montessori that I observed in another county, and thought attending the Montessori in a town close to where I live would be wonderful--definitely NOT all alike--which I have found out the hard way. Disagree with a lot of their policies--not a parent-friendly school--unfortunately...Actively looking elsewhere--take a CLOSE look before considering this school!!!
