it’s ok. some of the teachers are horrific though. the only really good teachers i’ve had here are Ms Roberts and Ms Kinnee. And i’m a junior going into senior year. The MSA program is pretty good though and most people are nice. My teachers have not been understanding about my ADHD though. All my teachers got sent a letter from my psychologist about it and only one of my teachers acknowledged the email.

In eighth grade I submitted an intradistrict transfer to Novato high coming from San Marin for the MSA program. I can safely say it was one of the best decisions of my life. I absolutely love the accepting, kind, and inclusive environment where I constantly feel pushed to do my best. I still have many friends at San Marin, and many of them tell me about how unimpressed they are with the school and the many things wrong with it. This has made me confident that I made the right decision in transferring.

I used to think this school was a good school. But the last two years nothing but issues they allow bullies to get away with bullying and also allow teachers to scream and yell at your child and tell them to Shut Up!! Uncalled for and there should be some type of consequence. I'm at wits end at this point!

My son attended Novato High, he did excellent there the teacher are great, the MSA program is excellent.

I'm a senior at Novato High School and I have loved every bit of my four years here. I'm in the Marin School of the Arts program and it's amazing. The Arts flourish here and it makes the school more open and accepting of everyone. The Marin School of the Arts within Novato High School is a magnet school and attracts many out district students. This students usually bring more diversity and higher scores. Novato High School teachers are marvelous and I have been constantly challenged by my classes and my peers to learn and grow. Novato High School is also growing in size and programs and constantly improving. This is a first rate school that only lacks in funding and I have made friends here that will be with me till the end.
