Both of my children have had wonderful experiences in this school. Teachers and staff who truly care about the whole picture.

I originally sent my child to NBES via school choice program. Even after moving to another town that is a level 2 I still choose to continue send my child to NBES, because of the caring teaching staff and great kids.

This entire school system thrives on favoritism. Kids who's parents are pta or employed by the school are allowed to behave any way they please. There is a bullying policy however it's just on paper. Bullying runs rampant at this school. The only reason I gave 1 star is I believe the new superintendent tries to have the kid's best interest at heart. About 50 percent of the teachers are wonderful. Unfortunately the other 50 percent are the worst I've ever dealt with. There is a clique between staff and parents and if you're not in it your child is treated as an outcast.

Awesome. They offer musical instruction after school in violin starting in grade 1....free aside from the rental fee. They also have an early morning program open to second grade and above teaching Spanish, or French, as well as alternating Technology and Drama. They have an excellent afterschool program aside from afterschool care that includes classes in music, nutrition, science, and fitness. I signed up my son for the early morning program. He is learning French, and using his tech time to work on math skills. He will have 180 hours more of math and a language than other kids his age by the end of 3rd grade. The teachers are wonderful and caring. They push the kids in reading and math. I am able to meet with them every month to talk about their progress. Five years ago they didn't have these programs in place. I appreciate everything the principal has done to insure we get these grants. I also like that it is such a small school...22 kids per class, with 2 rooms per grade. Everyone knows everyone and we all look out for each others children. North Brookfield is awesome if you want that small, family oriented school community.

This is a wonderful small school with great teachers! Yes they don't always have the town support with the budget, but they do a great job with parental help and limited resources. A friendly, strong school with all new leadership that is helping it become better. Now offering foreign language, extra math and science for grades 2 and up.

I have been in the system for a year and love it!!!!! no the town does not have the funds to back many programs but the support of parents and teachers amazes me. Coming from a city school that didn't even provide a science program for the 3rd I am pleased with my kids' progress.
