They say it takes a village to raise a child and Pennoyer is our village. Our child just started their public education journey and the staff has been extremely supportive and communicative through a number of bumps along the way in academics and behavior- instead of just pointing blame they have worked with us to develop a plan, the communication has been incredible and we are seeing massive improvements in both arenas for our child. We love the small, family like environment with Pennoyer and they have a lot of cross learning opportunities with multiple grades so that all the kids sort of look out for each other- it's really touching! Completely satisfied with this school and excited for the future!

Pennoyer is an excellent school for many reasons. They truly care and love the students. I have one child who needs to be challenged more and one child that needs more support. The teachers are wonderful with both of their individual needs. We love it here.

Pennoyer school is small but mighty! The teachers, administration, and staff care deeply about the happiness and success of every student. I attended pennoyer myself, and now my daughter attends. It is a wonderful school and will just continue to get better!

I used to be impressed by this school. I've grown pretty disgusted with administrarion, the board, and many others at the school over the past year. The push for a $20 referrendum seems to be all they care about these days...

My experience with the staff has been great. The teachers have always answered any questions, the nurse was always on top of things and going above and beyond what I would of expected. Teachers and staff are involved in making sure parents are updated with things that are happening inside and outside of the school.

What a turn around! Our school has come such along way, and is continually improving. We are looking to remodel our school starting this 2018 school year should the referendum pass. The staff and students and community will all be benefiting from this change. I see a bright future for Pennoyer, and am excited for my children to continue their education here. The administration is strong and open to feedback. They hold monthly meeting for parents to learn about new developments,involving our school. The communication we receive is unbeatable. Pennoyer school is a public school, with a small private school/family feel. So happy this school is in our community.

As a parent I am very happy with the new administration. They listen to what parents have to say. Superintendent has monthly meetings for parents to attend to provide the updates about our school. I have had a great experience with the teachers both my children have had thus far. My only concern is that I wish they could offer a language program for students starting in 2nd or 3rd grade. They tried to offer as an after school option and they did not get enough enrollment. Great school, great teachers, great PTC!

I haven't had a good experience at this school. My child has hardly ever brought home an art project and never learned anything in art. The teachers' rely on the chrome books to educate the kids. Very rarely do they actually do exciting, fun projects. They spend a lot of time in front of the screen and not enough time doing assignments on paper. The teachers don't really seem into their job. They do the bare minimum.

I'm very happy having my kids at Pennoyer School. I think the principal Mrs. Micelli is a great leader in the school. She and the teachers are a great supportive and caring team. I love that the school is small compared to other schools, therefore classes are smaller and kids get the extra attention they need. The kids also seem to be close and supportive of each other...the families too! There needs to be more parent involvement when it comes to school events. The parents who do volunteer on a regular basis do a phenomenal job!!

I have 3 sons, 2 are attending Pennoyer right now and my oldest has already graduated. Out school only has around 400 students but the education they receive is phenomenal. There are only 2 classes per grade, with around 20 children per classroom which allows the teachers with a more personal approach with the students. In the past 4 years we have become extremely tech savvy. Each child has the use of chrome books. Even the kindergarten has a chromebook touch table. We also have won the academic excellence award 4 years in a row. It may be a small school but it is great.

Pennoyer is a great school to have your kids go to. The administration staff is great! I love the teachers. They work very closely with all kids. I love the families, we all know each other!
