This district and this school are anti LGBTQ and refuse to administer a place for students to seek answers. They cave to bigotry and "parents" full of hate to squash out individualism and expression and hide behind the "responsibly to parents" instead of teaching and accepting students with disabilities, different view points, and LGBTQ+ youth.

The teachers at NJHS are great people doing a good job. The curriculum is not challenging, which is my biggest complaint. The kids need to be held to a higher standard of education to compete with their peers at other schools. Sometimes, at this school, sports are valued higher than academics, which is not going to serve the kids in the future because in the real world, only a very select few will play professional sports, but everyone needs critical thinking and a solid education to make it, and that education needs to start way before college. Some of the rules are ridiculous and serve no purpose, i.e. no bringing lunch in from a restaurant unless you're going to sit with your child OR ELSE they have to eat alone in the office!?!
