Parent of two boys. G 2001 and G 2003. Looking back.Though we could not afford some of it. In my opinion this was the best money we spent for our boys education. I found it to build the foundation of their education from boy to a man and to make learned decisions for themselves with out following the crowd. Our two boys were challenged to be better men in, education, sports to over come challenges and to understand the world around them.

St. Sebastian’s School is a school like no other, the brotherhood amongst the faculty and students is shown through the respect and love for one another. The academic rigor is top notch as all of my boys have been challenged in their own way. My husband and I are supported every step of our children years. Thank you St. Sebastian’s for such an unbelievable education. Arrows forever!!

We've had a very good experience with the school overall with the character development aspect being a crucial complement to the academic piece. Athletics can be a challenge due to the level of play but they do the best they can to get boys involved in as many things as they can reasonably manage.

Outstanding. My wife and I have four children, one girl and three boys. Sending our first son to St. Sebastians was the best educational decision we have ever made. We quickly realized that he enjoyed going to school and we loved the fact that he was getting a well-rounded education (in the class room and on the athletic fields), from teachers and coaches who cared about him. It was a win/win. It made the decision to send his two brothers very easy. Our youngest is now a Junior. We are very lucky our boys went to St Sebastians. It truly is special place.

We have had two boys attend St. Sebastian's. Our second is there now. I can not imagine a better environment for them to spend their high school years. It is an amazing, caring, inclusive community where the boys are known, loved, and challenged on a daily basis to be their best. We are profoundly grateful to be able to send our sons to St. Sebastian's.

My two sons are proud graduates of St. Sebastian's and I believe there was no better place for them to attend high school! They both had wonderful experiences at St. Sebastian's academically and socially. The School provides a rigorous academic curriculum, a strong athletic program, a multitude of extracurricular activities while remaining true to its identity as a school rooted in the Catholic faith. St. Sebastian's is a welcoming community to its students and their families. The School's graduates are young men with a strong moral compass, intellectual curiosity, leadership abilities, a desire to work hard and a natural willingness to volunteer in their colleges and communities. St. Sebastian's students matriculate to many of the best colleges and universities in the nation, and as importantly, they are well prepared for the rigors of college when they arrive. Because of the Schools uniquely integrated writing and speaking program, their students can write and communicate publicly with ease and are often asked by their peers to critique their papers!I am truly fortunate to have sent my sons to St. Sebastian's School and they hope someday they will have their own sons to send to their alma mater. St. Sebastian's prepares its students for college, and a St. Sebastian's education is something that will follow them for the rest of their lives. I encourage you to consider giving the gift of a St. Sebastian's education to your sons. There is no better investment in their future.

Mediocre at best. Certainly no Nobles or RoxburyLatin. Son attended and got into average college he could have gotten into coming to Dedham public.

Extremely overrated school in regards to both academics and athletics. Does not compare to other academics in either category.

Having gone here, I must say I am happy to have gone to an all-boys school like this one. They are strict when need to be with a focus on overall growth (spiritually, academically, personally, athletically). I know parents/families who aren't religious may think they may be overwhelmed, as I did going into it. However, religion there is only apart of your daily routine as much as you want it to be. The courses based around religion are to educate and provide a broader understanding of what religion/philosophy/ethics are to each of us, not an attempt to convert anyone. In terms of the professors, they exemplify exactly what parents want and what students need to grow and be successful. For students of color, things can be a little different at first. However with time and the great support system in place, things will be great!
