The teachers and staff at Riverdale create such a warm and nurturing educational environment. We have been beyond pleased with the support our children have received at this school.

We have had an exceptional experience with the Riverdale School community. While the district for the school makes up almost half of Dedham, the size of the school is small enough that the administration really know each child and family well. Class sizes in my sons grade are less than 20, a student:teacher ratio that is largely unheard of in public schools. Despite being almost 100 years old, the school has been lovingly maintained. Mr. Paris, the principal, is the backbone of the school and an absolute gift to parents and the community!

Between 2 children, this is my 7th year here. This is a great school with great teachers and staff. Mr. Paris, the school principal, is the best!

I'm a parent of a first grader at Riverdale and my experience thus far has been very positive. The Principal, Ed Paris, is excellent and does a great job communicating with parents and fostering a sense of community. I don't have any concerns about the curriculum at this point and I think my child will do well in this environment.

Overall we have had a good experience. Teachers and principal really care about students and communication with them is often, which is key.

Caring staff. It all starts with the New Principal, Ed Paris. It's a tight knit community. There are great before and after school activities run by staff and parent volunteers. Dedicated PTO. The building could use a serious update, but it's the people inside the building that mold the children, not the brick and mortar that they sit in.
