Amazing elementary school, amazing staff. Definitely prepared our child to succeed in Middle School. Very impressed.

My son first attended a school in Milwaukee. It may have worked for some students giving them structure, discipline, and guidance. But what it did lack (in my opinion) was teacher interaction and support. Clarendon Ave Elementary gave my son all of that and so much more. An after school hours tutorial, with other students, teachers, and teachers aides, programs need for students that have difficulty in many subjects, not just passing them on to the next teacher. They really focus on the student and his or her academics, and their family.

My daughter goes to Clarendon, and we love her teachers and the rest of the staff! So much attention goes into each child's education. We love the diverse group of students and the family atmosphere. Keep up the great work!

Clarendon Ave. is one of the best schools in the area. My children went to Wauwatosa schools for years and they never received the attention they needed until they enrolled at Clarendon. Teachers are great, staff outstanding, even the lunchtime playground monitors are kind and helpful. I went to Clarendon, my children go to Clarendon, and I cannot wait until my grand kids go to Clarendon (ok I can wait).

I'm very disappointed in this school so far. It's my child's first year attending here and the transition has been hard. The teacher has been rude to me and unhelpful...she speaks very "sassy" (as my child puts it) towards the children in class. The principal has said he was willing to help but then criticizes our decisions as parents. If I could do it over again I would never send my child here. Such a terrible first impression.

We love Clarendon! Since my daughter started 5K three years ago, we could tell there was something special and the school, students, staff and parents. My husband and I are not from this area originally and we feel lucky to live in an area with such a wonderful school and district!

I LOVED the teachers there. They formed bonds with their students, and helped each individually instead of the entire class alone. Also, i was worried about middle school for a while, but thankfully, my teacher had set up a few weeks dedicated to the middle school format, including, no desks, four minute spaces between classes to get things from our lockers, and passes made for each student for lunch!
