As a member of the Mount Olive community my children have had very negative experiences at this school, in fact I've heard their friends share stories about this school on multiple occasions, stating that the teachers either do not help them, or that they always take the easiest solution to the problem even if it's not the correct one. Despite all of the anti-bullying assemblies and movements, nothing much is necessarily being done, and if there are things being done, it is usually minor issues. These minor issues have been addressed towards every student, therefore almost dismissing the actual situation that affected the individual in distress.

Mount Olive Middle School is an amazing place for learning. The school is loaded with technology, the latest scientific materials, and caring well educated teachers. Children come out prepared on all levels to succeed in High School. Not only does the school exceed at STEM, it also has the top music / arts programs in the state, to round out the education of the children.

MOMS used to be a great school, there were many afterschool activities run by excellent leaders, the courses were enjoyable and educational, like woodshop, music, computers, Home Ec, etc. This year there is a new principal and vice principals, and everything has gone down hill. No one enjoys school anymore as staff become increasingly selfish, unhelpful, unsupportive, and restrictive. The principal has removed several of the fun classes from our day and rejects most requests from teachers to do fun activities. My grades have dropped a large amount, i have gone from an A+ student to a B and C student. Its as if the teachers forgot what their purpose is. Extra help that is offered is useless, since the teacher doesn't help, you sit in a room doing practice the wrong way. The only courses that are useful are Social Studies and French. This school is becoming worse and worse, and i cannot wait to move up to high school.

Mount olive middle school is the best! Not only is the food better by having so many meal choices, but it has multiple clubs and activities for students to join. For example, the drama club for MOMS is the little mermaid and even if you don't get a part you can still do back stage! There's a part for everyone! So come on down and enroll your student in MOMS, where NO student is left behind!

Great communications between parents and teachers. Teachers are always willing to help and give special attention when a problem is noticed. This was a great transition from Elementary school. After meeting with my 7th graders teachers, we have direction for 8th grade and High school prep. We are very satisfied with grades and attitude!
