I have been a parent at this school for the last 7 years straight. Also an alumni that wanted their children at the school it’s been an absolute disappointment over the last 7yrs the school has had an increased, drugs, alcohol and kids have … on campus and in cars, students being bullied by classmates/teammates, When a teacher/coach was told of bullying that coach did nothing about and it’s still going on to this day. There is a lack of accountability for there actions at this school nowadays. If it wasn’t to the school having some teachers that care and teach the avid, Pathways and AP program's. I would have gave them the school a lower rating that’s why I’m, given are the reason why it has two stars. They handled the COVID the best as they could with the Constant changes. This is why I gave them an other star making it a total of three stars. They need to bring back detention suspension and expulsion because there are no longer any consequences for students actions

Don’t go to this school if you take academics seriously, go to this school if you just want to fool around. The teachers here are somewhat alright I currently attend this school and they are very supportive. However these are the teachers that I currently have so I don’t know if my future teachers are going to be horrible later on as I get older. Teachers that I know of are trying their best to help out students to get better grades but these students don’t really care at all. I feel really bad for their parents who immigrated to the US for a better life for their kids. All of that just to see them fail in school and probably harming themselves. The security at this school could be better, wishing they were more in shape and I don’t feel at peace when we have security that don’t do their jobs well enough. You can argue with me. I remember when I came out of my class around 12:58 P.M something blew up out of a restroom. It was a bunch of smoke everywhere coming out of that restroom. First time I ever felt scared that something worse may happen. Think about something worse that can happen even worse than this. Turns out this happened twice this year and last year. Don’t know how security let these guys to do it TWICE. Let’s not make it 3 times security hopefully you see this. Clubs are rarely active, they barely hold meetings. I’m in a few and I rarely see them post something about a meeting on their social media. Hopefully I see more active clubs by the time I graduate. 3/4 of the students here don’t care about their education, they gamble in the restrooms and most of them have really horrible grades. They think they are all tough and stuff but little did they know this is just high school and what they do in the present is really gonna affect their future. Hopefully these guys mature later on and really care about their futures. On a positive note, SOME of the sports they have are good such as cross country, track, waterpolo, both boys and girls basketball, and what not are very good. However being good at a sport is not above everything when academics is important when you want to succeed. Overall, this school is horrible. I can point out more negative things about this school but there’s just too many and I choose to be nice.

Schurr High School has amazing teachers,staff members, counselors and principal. Schurr High School has around 30 clubs and around 15 different sports. This school has lots of benefits and also the teachers help you a lot. Schurr has so many kinds of events like sports, concerts, prom and etc. My child had an amazing 4 years at Schurr.This is a great school to be in!

You need to make the best of things. This school is pretty fine academically I have taken around 8 AP Classes and I am a Junior. THis school strives for the best and although we're probably not he most spirited, we behave with utmost respect when asked. Being an acadmically driven person I have not suffered bullying of any degree and if you choose the right path anywhere you go good faith will follow you. Honestly, I love my school I have met pretty amazing people and teachers have been nothing but helpful towards me.

This school is amazing.Some teachers are amazing, they'll help a students in need and really care about you. We have a lot of sports and activities you can do while you're attending schurr. Most students do not like this school because they failed a class but remember, YOU MAKE YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE. The staff is great! Academically, the school is great!

I have been going to this school for about 3 years now but left. Just like every school they have pros and cons but overall there is more cons in this school than pros. I believe that this is a great school there is many great teachers that do try to help you, but some only care about their paychecks more. This school offers many sports and activity that challenge the mind and is a lot of fun. The test score are also a pro to this school since they did get a 701/1000 recently. Now for the cons, the school is overcrowed with a few thousand kids. I remember my english and physical education class having at least 40-50 kids in it. Most of the fellow classmates that I meet there tend to be fake. This is quite common for most schools around the world, but I believe with Schurr High School it is worst. I to have fallen victim to this where I lost intrest in my school work and pay more attention to social life, I went from an A student to a D. This school cares more for their sports championship to at least getting new books in the classroom. I had to carry 3-4 books to school and home. Overall it's a below average school and the principal needs to see the problems within it and fix it.
