I am very happy with the progress my daughter is making at Stepney elementary school,She is so excited to go to school to very Friendly staff I am so happy I moved to Monroe to give a great Education to my children thank you to all great teachers.

I feel it important to dispel the absolutely absurd review posted in February 2018 with something factual. As you’ll see I’m not giving everything astounding 5-star reviews. No school is perfect. There are always areas needing improvement. That said, Stepney is pretty darn close. Because this review doesn’t seem to allow for expounding on the categories anymore, I will simply say that whomever wrote that review was an anomaly who chose to voice the disappointment they had with one, possibly up to two, issues that weren’t resolved to their liking. It’s very easy for the “mama/papa bear” to come out in this instance. However, this individual clearly went above and beyond to write as many negative things as they could fabricate to “show them!”In short, Stepney Elementary School is fantastic. As a parent I feel heard, included, sought for input, and at peace knowing my children have and will receive an excellent education surrounded by a wonderful administration that leads by example.

NEGATIVE!!Sadly disappointing.The teachers LIE to parents.School Nurse does NOT contact parents when an injury occurs.... even with an A+ student....Possibly out of fear that the school is/was/could be responsible for injury.Nurse will tell child with disabilities that they will contact parents and DO NOT!!DISAPPOINTED, SADDENED ANDEXTREMELY FUSTRATED!!!!

Stepney is a great school. Teachers and the staff are all wonderful to our kids.

Finally found a school for our children :-)My daughter is developing her reading like never before, she is going to fifth grade. My son is doing great, they always give him the encouragement that he needs to learn, he is going to fourth grade.
