    This is the premier elementary school not only in Shelton, but in the area overall. The academic focus is top notch, only surpassed by the culture that the faculty cultivates, which is a direct reflection of the principal. If there was anyone made to be a principal of an elementary school, it's her. She is instantly beloved by each of her students from the second they walk in the door. This school will set each child up for success in all the years that come and it can not be recommended enough.

    The school must be doing something right. My son is a student there, currently in 1st grade, but his interest with the school stems all the way back when he started in September 2020 (Covid high season). The reason I put it this way is because, at some stage during the year, he had a Dr. Appointment that was to fall during school hours and he bluntly refused to go to the Dr, because, as he put it …”I am going to miss out on my class”, and this is coming from a 5yr old. He loves his teachers, obviously his own class teacher (Mrs A) the most. Despite the school year had been affected greatly because of the Covid circumstances, yet still, the teachers have made their impact on him, enough to make him choose school over any other activities (the Dr appointment case elaborated was just one of many).
