Excellent. Both of my children recently graduated from MPS. We were very happy with their educations which prepared them for HS and beyond.

Milford is a gem. Their project based learning is a very strong program and can be compared to highly rated private schools. The teachers, the Board and the administration are committed to what is best for the students. The students are extremely well prepared for high school and have the self confidence they need to succeed.

Our family decided to school choice our son to MPS because the love, big family environment, and small class size MPS offers is exactly what he needs. We stand by that wholeheartedly and know it was the best decision we could have made for him, even through all the confused looks and questions from others on why would we choice school out of Holland. From talking to others it seems like small schools have this negative connotation associated with them that because they are so small they must not be able to offer what a larger school can. I can confidently say with kids at two different schools that is absolutely NOT true. I often feel they offer way more even with my son having an IEP!

Outstanding! Milford families are so fortunate to have this kind of experience for their children.

To address the issues concerning inconsistent learning experience, we would like to share that by having smaller class sizes, children are able to have more opportunities to ask questions, contribute to discussions and get to know their teachers. Teachers also have the advantage of knowing your child one-on-one and assess any issues if needed. Our school also offers Project Based Learning which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging and complex question, problem, or challenge.

This school is wonderful!! My son was more prepared for kindergarten after 2 years in pre-school than my daughter was after doing 1 year at Greenwich School and 1 year at Holland Twp preschool. I wish we could have had both children go through the Milford Public School.

Great small classes and individualized attention. Loved that all the teachers knew both of my kids names even in Preschool and all the kids called me by name. Lots of respect. Like s big family.

My daughter has been attending Milford, since she was 3 years old (preschool). After preschool we decided to choice school to Milford, and it has been wonderful ever since. This is her 7th year at Milford, and I know we made the right decision by keeping her there. The teachers are amazing, and truly care about each individual student. Love our MPS family!!

We love MPS. We stayed here in Milford because of the wonderful little school. My son loves all the teachers, friends and staff. He is learning so much, barely needs me to help him with homework and always brings home excellent grades!

We do school choice at Milford and we could not be happier. It’s a fantastic school. Bigger is not always better, especially when considering this gem!

Most of the reviews on here are old and frankly, don't do this school any justice. Perhaps the school was different 11 years ago under a different administration, but for the past 7 years, my children and I have had an amazing experience. We are a small community school and this public school offers a private school education. While the classes are small, they are a perfect environment for your child to get a focused education. You personally know all the teachers and better yet, the teachers know you and your children. An excellent place to send your children! Both children flourish are involved in after school clubs and have made lifelong friends, thank you Milford!
