Have been here for 7 years. Couldn't imagine going back to public. The arts are strong here but so is the math and science curriculum. Physics, Bio, Chem, Alegebra and Geometry all before High School

There are strengths to this school as others have noticed, but many weaknesses as well. Science is very weak, as is math. If your kid gets stuck with a bad teacher (and they are there), you are out of luck as the teacher usually moves up with your child through the grades. Your family must really buy into the Waldorf philosophy and approach to fit in with the school administration and community.

We love this school! My son has thrived in this school. He loves all of the teachers, and truly enjoys his classes. His favorite class is German, but he also loved learning Hebrew last year. He is in 4th grade and is learning the viola this year. This school fosters a sense of community among all of it's teachers, parents, and students. The children learn so much, and have fun doing it! The school focuses on hands-on, immersive learning, so the kids really understand the information. No memorizing to pass the test here! The faculty works very hard to ensure a beautiful and relaxing learning environment. The lunches (separate from tuition) are lovingly prepared out of whole foods that are mostly organic and local to be nourishing and tasty. The children have the opportunity to go outside everyday, in most weather, and not be cooped up in the building. My son spends winter recesses snowboarding, sledding, and building snow forts-how fun is that? My daughter starts next year, and we can't wait!
