There is not enough resources for kids with special needs and the teachers don’t seem to be prepared enough either. My child had two teachers leave mid school year that were special educators, my child has been secluded in class, my child has been misunderstood. When I moved to this town, they had the best ratings, now looking 3 years later, their rating has dropped to average and no one has even given a rating for special education. They need more diversity and need to practice inclusion. My son is not getting all the help he can get and forget about looking for child care during the summer for autistic children in the area, there is none. You better plan on hiring a baby sitter or getting a family member to watch your child. And whatever you do, do not take your special needs child to NEST daycare located in Middlebury. They are the absolute worst. Call them and tell them your child is special needs and see what they say for yourself.

Both our daughters attended and had an excellent experience. The teachers are extremely caring and they help instill values. There is ample support for students re: bullying as well.
