    I'm a founding teacher at Sierra Prep Academy, and I am so excited to be part of this new school. We are a liberal arts school. We value balance between a student's school life and their home life, and we are committed to offering a rigorous curriculum without piles of homework so students might enjoy pursuits outside of classwork, too. Within the classroom, we will offer math, science, literature, foreign language, art, music, drama and physical education. Students will also enjoy set breaks throughout the day to relax and recharge. Our after-school clubs and programs include our state-of-the-art maker space which will include computers, 3D printers, laser cutters and other building tools. We see technology as a valuable medium for learning and it will play a complimentary role to our studies. Other offerings will include a robotics club, sports clubs and anything else the student body expresses an interest in pursuing. This school is for its staff and students, and we're committed to creating a community of learners who respect each other and support one another.
