Exceptional staff who love, care for, and support all students. I also love seeing the deeply rooted love that staff have for each other. It is clear to all that staff want to be there, enjoy what they do, and genuinely love their school.

My kids and I have ALWAYS felt welcome here. The teachers are kind and are always finding ways to challenge our children in their academics.

A+ compared to larger more impersonal schools. Leadership and teachers are attentive to students at an individual level. I would highly recommend.

My son has attended Memphis since preschool and I have always had a very positive experience! He loves his teachers and I love the close-knit feeling of the school!

I am a non-white parent with biracial children. Since my children have been in this school I have constantly had problems. The staff has pried into my personal affairs by questioning my children. I have had teachers take what I say and misconstrue it without contacting me for clarification. One of my children has a special need and that has constqntly been cause for the harassment towards my family. I have been racially discriminated against and have had to walk into this school feeling as if I was not welcome. This school district doesn't seem to kind to minorities at all. There are many kids in this district who have prejudices against people of color and Muslims and anyone who is not from this area. There are many conclusions drawn without first meeting with you and many things are done behind your back leaving you to pick up the pieces after damage has been done. If I had to choose a school district it would not be this one if you are a minority because you will be lied to and they will not treat you fairly at all.

For the most part we have had a great experience at Memphis Elementary, until later in this past school year when there was a staff change that negatively effected us. Other than that the staff has been extremely helpful and friendly and kind and have done everything they could for us. The principal is very involved in every single thing and makes the school a safe and positive environment for the students.
