BULLYINGMy son started at Armada Middle 3 years ago 2020 in the Academies. He was challenged and is excelling each year. We decided to transfer our two daughters to Armada 2 years ago. The eldest and youngest were learning and making friends. All three enjoyed the school a lot and they were doing well. Then the bullying began in that first year. Our eldest daughter began to be tormented by bullies. Bullies who convinced the literally entire class to join in on the bullying. We approched the school administration for help. They did nothing to affect the bullying. The bullying affected her studies, her menta stability and it inhibited her from going to school. We transferred her out of Armada. She is doing better where she is now. She is still seeing a councilor because of this. Well here we are, two years later and my youngest daughter a Freshman, starts getting bullied. We try to have the school intervene and help. The Armada response to bullying has not improved. I hope we can resolve this before we have to move our second daughter to a different school. With all of the local, state and national movements to curb bullying, I'm not certain how Armada High School has such a poor response to and prevention education plan to curb bullying. They get an F all the way to the Principal.

Top notch staff and administration. Great atmosphere. From the other parents to the students, it has absolutely the friendliest people. Everyone from the superintendent on down to the custodians are so helpful and approachable. There are many award winning programs, including HOSA, and as many, if not more, opportunities for students as much larger districts have. I cannot say enough about the community and the people. We could not be happier with our decision to relocate into the Armada district.

Great School! Excellent Programs and staff. Armada High School has an award winning Renewable Energy Program, a national award winning Health Occupations program, excellent drama program and a wide variety of successful sports programs. Additionally, Armada High School has a full band program including orchestra, jazz band, concert band and music theory. The teachers are excellent and two have won Macomb County Teacher of the year in the past four years. Lastly, the principal was named Michigan High School Principal of the Year in 2013.

We moved out to Armada (from Clinton Township) to provide our children an excellent education in a safe, family oriented community. We were welcomed from the beginning and never regretted the move. The district could use some technology upgrades but oveall they do an amazing job with the limited resources of a small district. The kids are excited to be involved in plays, concerts, and sports and I Iove that the students are expected to maintain decent grades in order to participate in the fun stuff. The staff is involved and takes a genuine interest in the success of their students. I would highly recommend Armada Schools!

I had 2 children graduate from the Armada High School and now my grandchildren attend this school. The changes that have been made through the years have only made the school better than ever.

I brought my kids to Armada high School from Capac. I had to get away from the constant cuts and the growing hardcore drug use. Frankly, the Armada staff has been tremendous. They truly love working with students and create wonderful opportunities for students. I especially like the Drama program and the Academy. Everyone is so friendly and is willing to take time for my son and daughter. It is great to have kids who like to go to school again. I cannot say enough about the atmosphere and the community. It was the best decision I made.

The Armada District is excellent. I have worked in several districts prior to coming to Armada in 2004 and nowhere have I been surrounded by kinder kids, more dedicated staff, and (at the high school where I work), more supportive, innovative administration. Negative reviews from 7 or 8 years ago were accurate for that time. Our buildings were in sad shape. However, all of the buildings have been renovated beautifully and our district has provided technology that was unavailable in different districts. The Armada district, by itself, has a relatively small population, but our numbers are growing every year due to the large influx of "schools of choice" kids coming from communities across our county. Parents are very involved and turn outs at parent conferences and other family opportunities are always high. We have many extra-curricular activities (in addition to all of the major sports) such as SADD, student government, PLT, book club, etc. Any student would be lucky to come to this district where the bar is set high and the students well-prepared for their futures.
