My granddaughter, who is only 15, is getting bullied at Capac H. S. And the principal had not done a single thing to stop it. She's being bullied by the "preppy" girls, they know they can get away with it because some of the parents work there or know someone who works there. They have gone so far as to plant evidence on her to get her in trouble so they don't. They're sneaky about it, my granddaughter is only 15, they are too but they're just mean. This is the second year at that school, which means second year of being bullied.... the staff don't seem to care. This needs to STOP! Can anyone suggest something that can be done? PLEASE

The options the district provides is amazing- from - solid academics, to the amazing music program, the FFA classes/exposure to option of traveling internationally. I wish I had the exposure when I was growing up.

My family moved here when our son was in Jr Hi. There was an immediate positive difference from our former school. There is a small-town family feel to Capac Community Schools. It has been an overall great experience for our son.

All 7 of my children graduated from CHS. The small town, family oriented culture here was an great experience. They provide a plethora of educational choices and extra curricular activities that help each individual student achieve their potential, while building a community. Teachers & staff know students by name & take interest in their lives. Parent involvement is appreciated and encouraged.

The teachers go above and beyond to connect with the students and make sure they’re getting the best out of every day. The school is improving it’s grounds and academics. For what they lack is after school clubs and sports variety, they make up for in school pride and a feeling of being a family.

My daughter is brand new to the Capac district this year. She came from a rather large district to a rather small district, and I had a lot of concerns about how that was going to impact her. I cannot say enough how much the staff went above and beyond to talk with me, and help me, help her, as well as them, help her, to acclimate to the new environment. She gets more personalized help and the teachers seem to really take the time to get to know the students and they're not just another face in the crowd. The students also have greeted her and treated her as a new member of the tribe and not an outsider. For the holidays, the whole staff goes out of their way to make it fun and memorable for the students. As for the academics, she seems to be learning more and retaining more information because she is able to get a more personalized teaching environment than at the larger district we came from. I could not be happier with how the school has proven itself and would never take her anywhere else.

Nothing has changed for the better. Many frustrated faculty and families departed. Lowest quality of administrators and board members: arrogant, dishonest and self serving. Mostly desperate souls remain. Shameful

Leaving Capac was the best thing I ever did for my kids. It was a tough decision at first, but as Capac keeps cutting programs and providing less opportunities for students, it made me pull my kids out. Nobody who works there seems to be happy and it made it tough for me and my kids. They are so much happier now in Armada. It is so sad to see how quickly Capac is falling apart.
