Our son is in Kindergarten and we have had such a wonderful experience since PK! All teachers, staff and leaders are very caring, nurturing and professional. Ms. Partida strives for excellence. Safety in this campus is paramount.

My son barely started PK this school year at Rayburn and it's been an overall great experience, it has been an amazing school year thus far! We chose Rayburn Elementary because we had heard that they have an amazing PK team and we wanted to ensure our son received a great foundation. Everyday we find out something new he has learned. At dinner he usually starts talking about projects they do in the classroom or center activities, he also loves to share catchy songs he is taught to reinforce letter-sound recognition or numbers. He has learned about all the holidays through the year. and the different seasons. He can write his first & last name and numbers. He has been given homework and will do it on his own. He is very independent. He is eager to help with chores, cooking and cleaning. He has become more creative and adventurous. Thank you to all the staff for everything & a special thanks to: Mrs. Barajas, Miss. Solis, Safe & Secure team, and all Admin Staff led by Mrs. Partida.

Our family loves Rayburn Elementary, my son has attended for 3 years now. The teachers are amazing, the school prioritizes student and staff safety, I feel very confident sending my child to class. I love that teachers share the students day with us via the school app, it’s nice to see my child in his learning environment. Great school, highly recommend.

Rayburn has truly made a remarkable difference in my family's lives. Rayburn is home away from home! All staff is welcoming and friendly! In my experience, the teachers go above and beyond for their students and are all heart. Being an out of district transfer and having the option to choose where my childern attend school, I'm without doubt glad we are at Rayburn!

Our experience has been negative. The school: 1. does not involve parents in their child(ren)'s development, 2. does not provide resources/tools to parents to use at home, 3. excludes kids, 4. labels kids, and 5. does not follow-up after a complaint has been made. For example, only the kids that sold $60 worth of popcorn were allowed to attend a Valentine's dance, excluding the kids that did not have the means to sell $60 work of popcorn. Basically, the entrance fee to attend the dance was $60.Also, the nurses are not helpful and unprofessional.

Rayburn is an amazing school with great educators who are 100% dedicated to growing their students academically and emotionally. There are several extracurricular after school clubs that are offered to students such as Ukulele, Chess, Cheer, Destination Imagination (DI), Elevate (4th & 5th grades) basketball and volleyball and UIL.

The school is very friendly and accommodating to the students. For children it is important for them to feel safe with their teachers and staff members, almost as if a home away from home. The classroom environment really is like family. The teachers and staff will go above and beyond to ensure the students are learning. Students are constantly exceeding the expectations set in the classroom and it really shows.

Rayburn Elementary is an excellent school. My two kids went through Rayburn and did amazing. Their teachers and principal only have their best interest at heart. They showed so much growth and now are successful products of McAllen ISD.

Rayburn holds great expectations of learning for other learning. Students are provided with the latest technology and curriculum. Students are their first priority. They want their students to have a wonderful experience and a memorable one.

I absolutely love all the teachers at Rayburn. They are so nice and truly care for all their students. My oldest daughter is already in High School and still says her best years were at Rayburn, and it is all because of her teachers.
