    As an educator and parent, I could not be happier with the quality of education Milam offers. The teacher and staff are dedicated, supportive, nurturing and inclusive. Most of all we pour our hearts into each child that walks in our school. We are a family at Milam. We love what we do and we take care of each other!

    My daughter attended Milam from kinder-5th. Milam was always very inclusive and supportive despite her disability, Down Syndrome. From day one I always dropped her off at the front of the school and she walked herself to class, attended safe and secure after school, and was part of the cheer squad. All the staff and cheer coaches were always very patient and accommodating to her needs. She was so comfortable that during the pandemic she requested a specific 5th grade teacher and the principal honored her request. We have been blessed to have been a part of the Milam family.

    Milam has been the best school for my son. He's always ready and eager to go to school, and at the end of the day he's happy. This is his second year at Milam, and he's shown tremendous growth in reading and math. His teachers have been so kind and loving to him, and that has really helped him want to learn. He also received services in reading, which helped his confidence and love for reading. He improved so much that he no longer needed services, but he was sad he wouldn't be going with his reading teacher. All in all, he's loves his classroom and specials teachers, and this makes me love Milam even more.

    As a former Milam Mustang and a parent of two children that have gone through Milam for their complete elementary career, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality education. The current admin, teachers, and staff are top-notch! They truly have the students best interest at heart. In my opinion, Milam is the best elementary around. We love our Milam family!

    Milam is such an amazing school thanks to their great teachers/staff. My kids have had a great experience here. We came from another district and have been so happy!

    The teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, administrators, interventionists, and special education teachers are great supportive and genuine people you would want your children to be around. I have had the pleasure to be in the library and the staff and IT personnel have been such a great help with any questions you might have. I would RECOMMEND this school to my family and friends.

    Milam is a great community that really supports the children and the families! All staff and support staff work together to make sure the child's/student's continuum of education is taken care of. We love the family, friendly environment that this campus has!

    Milam is an amazing school that offers quality services for their students. Teachers work closely together to foster academic growth and success. The Milam community is wonderful and comes together for the students in all areas.

    I love Milam!! My children thrived at this school. Their teachers were always helpful and supportive. Their love of reading started in the sweet little library.

    The teachers at this school are so caring. They go above and beyond to set high levels for the kids. Lots of opportunities for enrichment exist, such as choir, Elevate sports, UIL, and the robotics club. There is a strong connection with the community. Milam has great teachers, great students, and great parents. The building could use some updates.

    This is an excellent school with a caring community. The teachers and parents are involved and work together to provide the best education for the students. It has lots of extracurriculars and programs to help students in their learning. I highly recommend this school.

    Milam provided an amazing, high-leveled elementary experience to my two children. They and their friends have gone on to accomplish great things throughout middle and high school. The friends they formed at Milam are strong and deep, having lasted well past elementary. Milam really does its absolute best to give its students a meaningful education.
