I have been teaching at this school for 10 years now and absolutely enjoy teaching here. I have had great students and have worked with great people throughout the years. This community is wonderful and very respectful towards their children's teachers. Parents have been very supportive and are involved in their children's education.

This is my first year as a teacher at Castaneda Elementary, and as a teacher in general. The staff has supported me immensely, the kids are kind, willing and ready to learn. I have been given the resources to succeed, and my students have also been given endless amounts of resources and support from myself, the school, the counselor, and of course the Principal. I've also created a great support system with parents. They have also been a huge support to their kids in regards to being willing to communicate and donate things for small events we have in the classroom. Overall, as a first year, I can truly say I am at a school where I feel safe and as though the possibilities are endless. Not only for myself, but for my students as well.

I have had an enjoyable time throughout the school year. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout everything and plan incredible events for parents and students. We care about our students; their wellbeing is the number one priority in this school and I absolutely love that about this school. In the class, we try to maintain a culture-rich environment focused on student needs. Would recommend!

In my experience, Castañeda Elementary school has been a supportive and welcoming. The school provides a safe environment for parents, students, and staff. In my opinion, I enjoy all the events, and extra curricular activities provided for students.

My experience in this school as a teacher has been great. My students are always excited to learn and parents are always in contact with teacher regarding school work and behavior. I have had a great relationship with my parents. We have community events throughout the year that help community involvement and get the students excited about their school.

I have my 2 boys attend Castaneda from Pre-K4 to 4th grade. It has been their home away from home. They were involved in many activities outside of the academic curriculum. The staff is friendly and supportive of the many needs students have.
