Wonderful elementary school. Great teachers and great administrators. We love how dedicated the teachers and staff are and also how the school works to support all speeds and types of learners with group rotations within each grade level. We’ve had three children here that have definitely benefited from this approach.

I had three children at this school, and they all had an amazing experience there. This school is wonderful. The teachers are warm, loving, and engaging. The principal is fully involved, and she cares for the students. The reading specialists are beyond amazing. My son, who has a visual processing disorder, went from hating reading to loving it. My middle child is labeled gifted and talented, and she has loved the g/t program. My youngest is an on pace learner, and she did not slip through the cracks. There are, like anywhere, a few teachers that were not particularly suited to work with young children. However, the overwhelming positive and loving environment makes up for the areas those few teachers lack.

An excellent elementary school, surprisingly better than the also fine private alternatives. Students deliver their own TV show to their fellow students to start the day, the library is stimulating, arts flourish, basic learning takes first place with test scores to match. Team teaching in every grade, a top principal leads not from behind a desk but walking the hallways. Even the lunch ladies get into the task. We are fortunate to have this school in our community.

This is educational teamwork at it's finest. The children at Coleman are encouraged to take on responsibilities--they get a sense of independance and are fostered in their self-motivation to achieve. Meanwhile, the teachers provide excellent direction. . . the children at this school are generally models of good behavior. The librarians seem to know the reading levels and interests of each individual child.
