Donna Shepard IS is in the midst of growing a transformative culture of student leaders as well as building a positive environment for children to learn and grow. I couldn't be more proud of our time at DSIS, and I look forward to my younger children experiencing the same as my daughter has.

Moving up to 5th grade was scary for me as a mom, but I was very pleased with the staff and DSIS. They went out of their way to communicate to me and help my daughters navigate changing classes, keeping up with homework, etc.

I work at Donna Shepard and absolutely love this school and district. My own child will go to this school next year.

My son is a 6th grader. Last year was his first year in MISD . My husband and I moved here because there wasn't any schools in FWISD that we felt were comparable to MISD; I still believe that :as far as academics go. Unfortunately, my son experienced bullying for the first time and had his lunch stolen multiple times, along with his Ipod. The school didn't handle the bullying appropriately nor did it seem like they were concerned about the thefts. I'm unsure if the HIGH academic standing, is worth the sacrifice of teaching morals and standards! Would have loved to see both be a priority!

My son is in 6th grade at Donna Shepard and I don't see a lot of parent/teacher involvement. I don't see bullying getting any better for my child and I don't think the staff cares very much. I'm not looking forward to sending my other 2 kids here.
