The principal and staff are excellent. My 3 children attended school there and benefitted from it. All 3 of them graduated from Summit High School and have since graduated from Division 1 schools. Highly recommend the Summt Feeder Pattern Schools.

Crosstimbers needs to be shut down. This has by far been the worst experience a parent could ever have.

This school has a terrible bullying issue. The administrators try and keep it quite and never contact the parents. My son got his pants pulled down in gym and reported it and there was no contact. He has a different bully issue everyday. It's sad to see how they try and keep it quiet instead of addressing it.

My child was not successful in the fourth grade, hated school, and disliked learning. This year my child is loving school thanks to his 5th grade team! My husband and I cried at our meeting with the teachers in October because we were so grateful that everything was going so well this year. In April we got the good news that not only did our son pass the STAAR but he scored 25 points higher than last year on the reading and 15 points higher in math! YAY!

Let's start with orientation-told to attend twice! for what? the same boring presentation twice. OMG, and I delayed my vacation to go to the 2nd one. Never any parking. Teachers yell at students for walking on the wrong tile in the hall. My daughter was accused of bullying and when the truth be told after their 'investigation' it was totally untrue. The teachers act like they are very interested in your child's success at a meeting in September when presenting in front of the Assistant Principal and then the silence is deafening. Reminder emails of tests with contents are sent out the day before a test at 8pm. Are you serious? My child loved school until we got here. We are going to try to transfer out of this dungeon of horrors.

Cross Timbers Intermediate School is a nurturing environment where academic growth can be seen in the students. The faculty and staff encourage and provide necessary support to the students so that all students experience levels of success. The staff and administration work well to incorporate the community into the school. They have an open door policy for parents, grandparents and others once they have checked into the office for security purposes. I feel very comfortable with the educational experiences CTIS offers students. This is truly a caring bunch of teachers that are always going the extra mile or two or three to make sure that all students receive exemplary instruction and assistance to be successful. .

CTIS has adapted well to the continuous changes in the community to better serve all students. The administration and teachers are invested in all students' wellbeing and work tireless hours ensuring that the best education is provided. As a 5th grader at CTIS, my child flourished academically and socially.

Cross Timbers is an incredible school with amazing educators. My son has had teachers that have challenged and encouraged him academically as well as fostered his character growth with the Timbers Top 20. The staff truly cares about the students and continuously give up their own time to sponsor a variety of extra-curricular activities.

Cross Timbers staff really gets to know the students. The principal is available to talk to parents about any concerns. The teaching staff is great! There is a lot of support for all types of learners. Several of the teachers have children at the school, to me that says a lot! There is a great family atmosphere there!

Cross Timbers has some of the hardest working teachers in this district! The school climate is positive and the kids know that they are cared for.

The staff at the school has no problem giving out your private information to anyone, address, phone numbers, name of other kids in your family, place of employment, etc. Staff does not care about students and discourages parents from being involved in any way. Staff is not concerned about student safety, only about school reputation. If you report any type of bullying, from physical to verbal, the child reporting will be punished instead of the child doing the bullying. This is just to discourage any other kids from making reports.
