Do not send your child here.On the first day they didn’t even know who my child was and put her in a class of 3 year olds. When I said something about the end of day report app the director said they do t use it for 3 year olds. I said well she is 2…. The two year old class was clearly too full. The infant class smells terrible. The floor and walls are sticky and drawn on.Director is not welcoming and seems in a rush or irritated by parent interactions with her. Lastly they let someone take my child from the school without checking her Id or if she was even on the list. All of this happened in 3 days.This place is cheap and unorganized. I wish I could get my money back but Tonya hasn’t called me back. I want to report this negligence to the state as well on Monday. BEWARE!!!

My 3 boys have loved being at WCA. The teachers and staff are so nice and very engaged.

If I could give NEGATIVE stars, I would. When my son and nephew first went to WCA, the staff were attentive, kind and professional...apparently, all of those staff members have moved on to bigger and better things. My son was injured this week and not a single teacher, director or administrator called me...my 3 year old basically treated his own injury and on our way to Urgent Care (when I finally got someone to answer the phone at WCA), all the director could offer up was "I'm so sorry." That goes without saying... Get your kiddos out of there!

Just want to give kudos to Walnut Creek Academy! We love our school so much. The teachers are kind, patient, loving and amazing educators. I never ever worry while my daughter is there and she absolutely loves school. They have made modifications to allow her to color at recess on the days she doesn’t want to play on the playground. She truly feels like she matters at WCA and is loved like family. If you’re looking for a preschool or private school WCA is an excellent one!

Summer program teachers allow bullying even after student says they are being bullied. (Picked on.)

Always remember, with everything, You get what you pay for. I had my son here for 2nd and part of 3rd grade. The 3rd and 4th grade classes are so small that they run combined 3rd and 4th grade class...with a new teacher. We came back for 3rd grade despite our reservations about the combined class, lack of computer courses and lack of STEM classes. We returned to find that half of the primary teachers were new to the school AND the Spanish teacher left too. So they also don't offer Spanish anymore. If you are willing to pay only for only small classes, you can get that here....Thats the only benefit you'll get. If you don't mind a school that doesn't offer computer class (this is needed when they move on to public school as kids get their assignments online), has no proper gym (no, this school doesn't have a gym...my son said they stretch and do yoga), no Spanish, no STEM or the fun events that other private schools have (pep rallies, dances, yearbooks) then your child will be okay here. You’ll have to really fight for your child If they need help in core subjects (all while they “thank you” for advocating for your own child so you feel better about having to fight with the teaching professionals that should be willing to help and come up with a plan). I had to basically force them to come up with a plan to help my son and they ultimately didn’t follow through. This school has a bargain price for a reason. Just do your research. Mansfield public schools are good, so it's hard to justify paying tuition to receive less than what public has to offer. You may just want to pay more to get a well rounded enducation

School tolerates bullying and is not an accredited Private school, but is registered as a daycare. They will act as if they don't tolerate bullying, but indeeds just sweeps in under the rug, until you have to disrupt your childs life by removing them from the situation.

My son attends Walnut Creek Academy's before and after school care program and has done so for the past year. Things started out OK with this Center. But for the last month or so my son has endured bullying. Initially reported the first incident to the director. When I reported the incident she assured me that things will be taken care of and it wouldn't happen again. The very next day my son comes home and says the same boy bullet him. I can reach out to the director and she told me that the boy that was bullying my son would no longer be attending the daycare. The next day I see the child at the daycare center and I asked my son if the little boy bothered him today and he told me no so I assumed that the daycare center spoke with a little boy's parents and handle the situation. I assumed wrong, since then my son has come to me saying he was bullied again but this time the boy that was bullying him before was egging another child on to fight him. I asked my son if he told the teacher he said he did and the teacher told him to go finish cleaning up. Needless to say after that I lost it. My son has been removed from this day care center and I do not recommended Center for before and after school care. The teachers at the heaven plays for the before and after school care do not monitor the kids like they should and do not address situations.

We are absolutely blessed to be able to send our son to this school. The teachers are so attentive and caring. It's literally like a big family. I'm called by name in passing and treated with respect. Communication between school and parents is excellent. Our child came from a bad situation at a previous pre-school, but the teachers were patient and worked with him. That would have never happened at a public school. And lastly, they really care about kids and helping them strive to do their best. Couldn't be happier with the decision to attend Walnut Creek.

Couldn't have asked for a better set of teachers. The attention to education they provide is like any other. I am so blessed to have my kids attend. I have seen great improvement over this past school year and my kids have just grown tremendously!
