The principal picks favorites based on her relationship with the father; she allows bullying to go on and when the other child defends themselves they get in trouble for it.

I currently go to this school and the school is very strict especially for dress code there is definitely bullying not much but it happens fights happen a lot but they handle it well and the teaching isn’t the best but it gets the job done

I am disappointed in the first week of school. My daughter was sent home for wearing leggings and a t shirt not long enough?? She is tall and thin. What will happen when winter comes and they are In sweatshirts with leggings! These kids already have a lot to absorb and learn and sending kids home for something as ridiculous as your t shirt needs to be past your fingertips is not acceptable. Everyone has different body types. They should be in class LEARNING and not worried about if their shirt is long enough !!! And PS NO SKIN was showing !!

I'm a student here at this school, they just added isle and I'm being diagnosed with autism. I know that there may be new teachers at the isle classroom but please, if your child is going to the isle classroom here. take them somewhere else it isn't worth your child's mental health. yes, I did have fun here with the students and I will miss it. but in the isle classroom, I and some other kids are neglected and nearly abused. I have been sexually assaulted by another student and they said that I should just be nice to him and secretly said I was r*tarded for defending myself. I've gotten physically abused by another student and the teachers slammed me against the wall. they didn't scream at me but they did neglect my mental health. I had to self-harm because of the amount of depression I got from them. they didn't care when I said that I wanted to starve myself, they called another student selfish when she was having a mental breakdown, and they neglected groping and stuff. I am not saying the school is bad but I am just saying that isle is horrible and abusive.

Bullying is allowed and overlooked. Children that go to Wester are not parented at home and are very cruel, discusting and rude. Unfortunately there are not enough teachers that will watch these kids close enough and no concequences for terrible behavior. Truly sad.

Too much work, too many classes, children have no free period during the day and super ridiculous assigned seating/tables at lunch!

From teachers to administrators, it is evident that there is a sense of family.

The teachers are super nice, but not the students. The students are very arrogant and have a high ego. Also, they have openly discussions about their bad behavior toward authority and bully students who do not agree with them or do not fit in.They also discriminate other students by calling them "cracker " and other racial slurs. They usually go in groups and "jump students" or beat them up because of an opinion, or that student just annoys them. The discipline of the students is very underwhelming as well. They do not get the proper discipline for tormenting others.

Beware of staff members Brandi Pitt & Kourtney Gates at Wester Middle School. Both appear to possess biased ulterior motives when dealing with particular categories of students and believe accountability to concerned parents of those students is nonexistent. They fail in regards to maintaining the best interests of ALL students when it comes to them equitably earning an education. You work for the taxpayers of Mansfield who pay for your salary's and workspace. You serve the public; not the other way around. All future Wester parents need to keep school staff like these in check. If left unchallenged, this insidious daily working behavior based on personal prejudice can and will permeate further to the detriment of many children attending this campus.

My son had a very positive experience when he was a Wester Wildcat. He is bummed that we have moved and his younger brother won't get to go there too!

Horrible environment for kids, right at an age where they are developing their values and their self-esteem. This school is a hotbed of bullies who are savvy at hiding it from administrators. Kids are engaging in sexual activity and discussing it openly. It's enough to make me question my profession as a teacher.

Two of my children attended Wester and they excelled, they are both in college now. The teachers are nice and it is a very comfortable environment for study.
