I've been a part of the school for 11 years with all 3 of my boys at different ages. They have free therapists and counselors for all students. They go above and beyond to help in all scenarios, including financially trying to make school work for low income and up. This is hands down an incredibly run school, that's been a family owned and operated institution offering more than you can find pretty much anywhere in the area at reasonable pricing.The learning acceleration my children have had is unmatched. They are all well above average and even in higher grades for certain subjects.Send your kids here, you wont be disappointed.

My son has been attending LFPS since he was 4. This school has helped him grow into an amazing young man while helping him succeed academically. The ability grouping allowed him to take math and language arts beyond his current grade level because he was advanced in these subjects. LFPS Staff and Teachers become family and friends. We will always cherish our time here.

I was one of the very first students ever enrolled at this school and now my daughter is going into 5th grade there. We could not be happier with the commitment that this school and its staff show to the children and the families. The lines of communication are always open and they cater to each child's individual needs. I highly recommend this school to everyone!

Having put 2 kids through Lake Forest for almost 12 years of education starting from Primary we can truly say this is a great educational institution that has laid a great elementary foundation.

We've been at this school since the infant room. The school, faculty, and staff have always been excellent. Classes are interactive, homework isn't overwhelming like I've seen elsewhere, there is time made for students to be students/kids during the day. Meetings are easy to schedule if you need them. We only wish the school would continue past 8th grade.

It is a great school. All the kids have great behavior and joy for learning. The school allows the kids to move up levels in certain classes according to their own capacity. I really like they provide the kids with values without imposing a particular religion. It is like a family in the sense that all professors know almost every kid in the school, the kids know every other kid in the school, and you as a parent knows many other parents, that in general share similar values. I really love that the curriculum have PE, music, and Spanish every day; that creates a good balance since a lot of energy is released with the physical activity and art.

I could not have asked for a better preschool for my daughter. We are happy with the cleanliness, the friendliness of the admin staff, and most importantly the quality of the teachers and the educational experience. I would recommend this school over and over and will be sending my seconod child there later this year!

The format of the the school is what my son needed. They teach as his pace. Their patience and outside the box thinking and teaching has helped my son gain his confidence. Every staff member is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you LFP!

We love Lake Forrest! Our children (a 3 year old and a 1 year old) have been attending since they were each 3 months old. You can tell how much the teachers care about them - and how much our children love them back. In addition, we appreciate that Lake Forrest is a true preschool, not a daycare facility, with educational lesson plans that the teachers share with parents on a weekly basis.

Lake Forrest has been an absolute God-send for our family. Our child had attended a parochial school previously where his teacher would put him in the back and ignore him (he has a learning challenge). Thankfully, friends of ours told us about Lake Forrest Prep and he has taken to this school like a fish to water. As a child, my siblings and I attended exclusive, private schools. They were all-white schools with an arrogance that is unparalleled. Lake Forrest Prep is a family-run school that, in my opinion, outstrips those schools in every way. My son used to hate school and everything about it. He enjoys going to LFP, seeing his friends and his teachers.And, for our family, this school has helped us in other ways. They have understood and helped us as they could when our employment situation changed. Finally, during this COVID19 stay at home time, the teachers took on extra duties during their spring break to learn to teach over Zoom. The classes have been very effective and far less stressful on our family than what I have seen other families dealing with at their schools.

My son has been in LFP since January 2020. During the 2.5 months, it was going great. Now we are are on distance learning. The teachers have been great, but it's not the same as what we were paying for as a private school.

We have loved our experience at LFPS in the baby room (B1A). The teachers are extremely loving to the babies. My son lights up when we walk in each morning and he sees his teachers. The administration is just as great. They know every student's name and seem highly involved. They have been very quick to act, fair, and organized during the COVID situation as well.

The school's response to COVID19 has been amazing. While other schools struggled, Lake Forrest teachers were able to get things up and running with little downtime (almost too fast!). They have kept the students engaged and focused even in an unprecedented time. I appreciate how focused they are on each child succeeding not only in school work, but also in the mental and physical wellbeing of the child. They get it.
