This school does a phenomenal job educating the kids and preparing them for school beyond St. Dennis! I particularly enjoy the school families, where students are assigned to groups with 1-2 kids from each grade from the school so they can learn from and support each other!

I would not recommend this school for the reason is that you will not receive a response back when writing an email and adminstration dept are very rude in their behavior.

I truly loved the teachers while i went there, but the homework was just insane. There was no time to work in class, and some of the study halls were taken away. I got a project or a huge assignment from every class every day. I worked all night just trying to get them done. This went on for years, and the teachers would always ignore my cries for help. The amount of homework they gave me almost drove me and several others to suicide. Im not even kidding. I hate this school with a burning passion and I always will. Yes, there were good memories, but they were drowned out by the mountains of homework and stress shoved down my throat. I do not recommend this school to anyone wishing for their child to be happy living their life.

Teachers are good, but the classroom sizes are too big. Your child can easily get lost in such big classroom sizes. If I am paying for a Catholic private education, I want to make sure I am getting my monies worth and unfortunately it wasn't so at St. Dennis. They also have the reputation as the East side "cheap" private school option and not a Catholic private school. If you want a real Catholic school education, look elsewhere, their are many other great options at the same price.

School has family feel, like teachers but large classrooms. 5k class 34 kids with 2 full time teachers , 1st grade next year will probably be 30 with 1 t eacher

Some incredible teachers. Some teachers who encourage those kids who are already encouraged and discourage those kids who need the most help and create a peer hierarchy within the classroom. A great school and community if you have a round peg kid but if yours is a unuque square pegged kid, they will have a hard time fitting in with the other kids and teachers. Also, any parent should be prepared to volunteer generously. Leadership within the school is malapropos and there is a very small town gossipy culture at times. But it is a very safe and homey culture.

personal attention, everyone knows each other, continuity of teachers and they really listen to the parents. My children are thriving.

St. Dennis is a family. The students know and look out for one another. The teachers and other families reinforce the values we are teaching at home, and they are getting an excellent education.
