Atwood is a wonderful school. My family loves being a part of our school community. Great teachers, incredible support staff, and an awesome principal who knows every kid by name.

My one daughter was here for K and 1st grade before I pulled her out and enrolled her into a school that could support her needs. She had behavioral struggles and this school did not have the resources to handle even small situations. They do not have a counselor and the social worker only comes in once a week. It became so bad that they pretty much extricated her from the rest of the class and she would come home crying every day because of how bad it made her feel(and this made her behavior worse) . And it got to the point where they were calling me and my husband every single day (literally), while we were at work, for things such as "she crawled under the desk" "she won't put her jacket on".Class sizes are far to big and they can't provide the "troubled" kids with the time and attention they need.... both her K teacher and 1st grade teacher told me this. Literally.I enrolled her in a Charter school with a full time counselor and a part time social worker that has much smaller class sizes and she is now doing amazing. My other daughter is still at Atwood and is now in 4th grade. She has academic struggles so she recieves Special Education services. This school has their own, separate, resource room and the Special Education teachers are amazing.... if it wasn't for that I would pull her from Atwood as well. Her General Education teachers have been horrible at communicating and can't seem to support her academic needs even when mandated in her IEP or requested by her SE teacher. Don't send your kids here. Find a school with smaller class sizes where your kids won't become lost in translation.

I currently have 2 children enrolled at Atwood and I can't say enough about the teaching staff. So far, all of the teachers have been absolutely wonderful. It is a joy knowing that my kids love going to school there!

AMAZING teachers and staff! Love it here. Feels like a family even though the school is large!

Is a top educational institute with quality leadership and exceptional educators. The curriculum is challenging, but Atwood's all inclusive policy ensures the needs of each student gets met. My only complaint is class size. I believe smaller class sizes would ease they load on the teachers and increase student productivity.

My son came to Atwood at the end of his 3rd grade year. He absolutley loves this school compared to his other Charter school. He is in 4th grade and he is doing so much better than he was in the charter school. Atwood is an excellent school
