I have had 5 sons attend Cheyenne and gone through multiple changes in staff and have nothing but good things to say about the staff, the children and the community in general. If only all elementary schools had this experience our world would be a different place to live in.

This school was a great school a while ago. However not really anymore. The Principal will not stick up for, or advocate for your child. He’s a pushover, who had no answer for bullying. He will ignore you, and tell you everything will work itself out. Not cool. Kids aren’t safe there anymore.

Their office staff are very rude and there is no communication between the teachers and parents!!

Teachers are excellent. Lots of clubs and activities like, science Olympiad, Lego Robotics, and chess club to name a few.

My son started Kindergarten this year. Our experience has been great! His teacher is wonderful and caring, the principle is at school events hanging out with the kids & having fun and the latchkey program keeps them active and having fun by getting involved with them before / after school. My son is receiving help with speech and the staff has been very helpful and patient with him.

When my kids first went here the secretary and 2 clerks were very warm, friendly and caring. Now the frumpy office staff seem to have an attitude and they ignore parents instead of greeting them. What a shame!

If your child has ANY special needs this is NOT the place to send your child. Special needs program is horrible!

The principal (Dr. Brosky) is a very strong leader and very visible and responsive.I think he's doing a great job of keeping the hallways safe and the building secure. However, the student to teacher ratio is very high. Many of the teachers seem overwhelmed and stressed. I was particularly disappointed in the kindergarten program. Two of the teachers seem very burned out, lacking in patience and ready to retire.
