Both my children attend this school. We all love it. Mrs. Dinelli is intelligent and compassionate. She goes the distance and really cares.And she gave me a job there which is working out well.

My son has been attending Baywood since kindergarten and will soon be graduating 5th grade. I love Baywood Elementary, everyone there is so positive and encouraging. The principal Mrs. Dinielli is very easy to talk to and so down to earth. My son has enjoyed his years at Baywood, his younger brother will be attending there in a couple years and I look forward to another 6 years with Baywood Elementary.

The community feel of this school is amazing. The teachers truly care about each child's education. I have 3 children enrolled and the school adapts well to their unique personalities. The low test scores are not a reflection of the effort of the staff here, but of the wide diversity of the area/school.

All of my siblings including myself have gone through Baywood elementary school. The teachers have always been friendly and helpful, and my favorite principal will always be Mr Jenison.

As a former student of Baywood Elemetary school, I was severely suprised to see that it had a five star rating out of 10. I went here from grades k-5, these were the most memorable days of my life. Every one of the techers and staff are extremely involved in making the experience ideal for the student. They offered me free speech classes during my fourth grade year and helped me completely overcome the inability to pronounce the letter S correctly. Mr.J is the most amazing principal, he disciplines properly while still always coming across as a wonderful and enjoyable man to be around. I think this school set the path for my sucess in the rest of my life, I am now graduating early from high school and it is my sincere belief that this school had the most to do with it. Also another fact that had me surprised to see 5/10 is that this is an elementary school with an amazing choire and band program. I remember being in fourth grade and thinking that the students were extreemely talented at what they do. For those who may not know who I am, I had the nickname "Crazy feet JT" after my performance in the talent show. This school truly sets up possibilities of a wonderful school career.

Our whole family loves Baywood! My daughter's teachers have been EXCELLENT: kind, professional, well organized, and great communicators. The principal, Mr. J, quickly gets to know each student; he is very caring and involved with the students on a daily basis. Every week there is an all-school assembly with Mr. J presenting a word of the week (positive values we all want to develop) and recognizing students and teachers who are doing great things. There is strong parental support with many amazing PTA leaders. We appreciate the diversity (racial, socioeconomic, physical disabilities, adoption) and all the kids *truly* get along. I've never seen or heard of teasing and there is a warm, supportive environment among the adults and the kids.
