My two kids have been attending CL Smith for four years now. I had to enroll them both in outside education because CL Smith can't seem to educate. The leadership lies and violates parent's rights. It's really not a school to send your kids to. Hawthorne has a much better system. The principal at Hawthorne doesn't lie or violate parent's rights. That only happens at CL Smith.

My experience here was pretty good, it is a great school! The teachers are amazing. The school has great after and during school activities such as sports, STEM, leadership and more! There is good recourses for social stuff, such as a counselor and leadership learning. However some students can be mean (just like at any other school). I would highly recommend.

We have been at CL Smith for 6 years now, and I would choose this school over any other. We have absolutely loved CL Smith! Both of our kids attend and are excelling both academically and socially/emotionally. They are thriving thanks to the incredible teachers, staff and principal. The leadership at this school and their commitment to invest in the students is inspiring. They go above and beyond to serve and help their students and families thrive. And they also make learning fun, by adding into their curriculum STEAM electives, Fun Friday, etc. They truly make my kids excited for school. One thing I did not expect was the amazing community of parents and families at CL Smith. It is beyond what we could have hoped for. We love the involved parents and families, who make time to help one another and support each other. We are SO thankful to have both of our kids be a part of CL Smith, it's wonderful!

This school has been fantastic for our daughter and we absolutely love the Principal, Teachers & Staff and the community that we have. Would recommend this school to any parent!!!!

10!! I moved to this neighbor specifically to have my daughter attend cl smith from tk-6th. The teaching staff are beyond amazing and the principal is approachable, understanding but very strong and capable with issues that may come up on an elementary school campus. I recommend this school to all of my friends with elementary aged students!

We love CL Smith! My daughter went K-6th and my son did two years of preschool-current 5th grader. The staff is the BEST in the District, hands down and our school administration is second to none! I would never hesitate to recommend CL Smith, the diversity and culture of care at this school is as unique as you can possibly get!!

I wouldn't hesitate to choose and send my children to Smith over any other school in the district because of the teachers and administration.

This school has been a wonderful experience for our family. My children have excelled and have great opportunities to learn about other children’s differences. They have learned to be respectful and most importantly KIND on top of their regular school studies.
