WISH is an exceptional school, providing excellent public school education and has my kids so excited to learn new things and to be curious about the world around them. We've been at WISH for 4 years now and cannot be happier. My kids participate in a variety of after school programs and sports and we do a lot of volunteer work with so many parents. We know test scores are some of the best in the area and that there's a 1,000+ person waiting list to get in. We feel blessed and honored to have our kids at WISH and would highly recommend it.

We are so lucky to have our kids at WISH, surrounded by the best teachers and great friends who make this such a loving community. Our kids are learning and thriving, with strong academic and social skills that are setting them up for a bright future.

This school is amazing and our two children thrive here. Their social emotional program alongside academic rigor give the students the tools they need to thrive.

This is now our 11th year at WISH, and it would be an understatement to say our kids are thriving. With its inclusive model, dedicated to serving the needs of ALL children in a general education setting, WISH is a truly remarkable school. While we knew we had found an amazing community school prior to the Covid pandemic, with the onset of distance learning, we were that much more thankful to be at WISH. Without missing a beat, WISH transitioned to full distance learning, with live instruction 5days/week (including art, music, PE and technology)! While the academic needs of my children have been met, even more amazing, their social-emotional needs, during quarantine, have also been taken into consideration. We are so very thankful to be at WISH.

Entering 4th and 6th grade was a big change but we wished to be more involved in our local community and WISH provided that. The leadership is rock solid solid and stable, the teachers very well liked by our family and the environment especially for elementary is wonderful with the community garden on site. Policy towards bullying is constructive. We’re very happy.

We have been so fortunate to be at WISH Middle - not only are our children thriving, but they are given opportunities based on who they are and what they want to do and learn, not just Common Core or standards. Students are able to learn at their own pace, and if they ask for a challenge, they're given one! WISH is often known for being inclusive of all students - and this definitely adds to the experience - but this does not just mean on the side of the spectrum where students need additional help and resources, but also for those students who are gifted and excelling and surpassing grade levels in various subjects - these students are also allowed to and encouraged to stretch beyond their grade levels to make sure they are also being challenged appropriately. We are very happy with WISH and what is being done at this school.

Overall, my experience at WISH so far has been great. I have two children there and they both love their teachers, they feel challenged and have great friends. Can't be happier.

It was whatever. I wish it could've been better

Overall, my experience at this school was horrible; the sweet relief I felt after finally graduating last year is indescribable. In this review I decided to focus mainly on the bullying, but I could have gone on and on about the horrible learning environment and the ineffective approaches towards teaching, discipline and inclusivity. I encourage you to find a school that will better fit your child's needs.

We love WISH! We have friends in many other local elementary schools and think WISH has the most well-rounded and thoughtful approach. It is truly a community.

My daughter has had a very positive experience at WISH Middle School. Great teachers, administrators and staff. The school truly values parent input and collaboration. Hands-on project based learning, service learning, great sports and lunch clubs for students. I love the emphasis on the well-being and social/emotional safety of students.

We left the school and found another charter that meets our needs.

Being part of the WISH community has impacted our family in countless ways. My son is learning and growing in ways I didn't think possible, and our family is embedded in a school community that makes our lives immeasurably better. WISH is a gift, and we are infinitely grateful to be part of the WISH family.

Not a day goes by that we don’t realize how lucky we are to be at wish. The faculty, small class size and overall sense of community make this such an amazing school experience for our kids. It feels like a private school education only it’s better because of the vast diversity at Wish.

I love this school. Getting in through the lottery is a drag but don't let it stop you from trying to get in.

Our experience at this school has been VERY POSITIVE! We drive between 20-30 minutes one way to come to this school and live in the Wiseburn School District (a district known for good elementary schools). And still we choose this school - even though it's a little less convenient for us. The parent community, high quality teachers, interesting projects, 2 times/week MUSIC and PE classes, weekly ART classes, and weekly TECHNOLOGY classes make it so worth it! I am so thankful we got in through the lottery and look forward to my children attending WISH Middle and WISH HS in the future.

Our experience at WISH has been nothing short of excellent. The experiences my child has had at WISH has allowed him to grow into a confident young man. I couldn't be more proud of him as a scholar and a person. He's been encouraged to reach outside of his comfort zone, try new things and explore his interests and passions as a scholar, a friend and a member of our greater society.
