Any institution comes down to the people who run it. For the past eight years I have had a child attending the school; the teachers and staff who have taught and watched over my kids have taken a personal interest in each one of them, and have celebrated them. I like that the curriculum may change from year to year, if the teachers find a better approach to a topic. Monarch has had its share of difficult times, and I have seen that the founders and those who sit on the Board of the school, are willing to try new ways and are students of ongoing learning themselves; this approach has only helped to enhance and prolong the creative and nurturing spirit hosted by the School and it’s supporting community. In a world that is becoming more Bible- illiterate, I value the scripture memory which has already proven to be an asset to my children’s growth, and emotional health, much of which is born from knowing that they are made by God who loves them and cares about everything in their lives, even as to where they go to school.

There is no experienced leadership. Memorizing Bible verses are more important then education. The school can't continue to stay open with only a few kids in each grade. It's extremely religious school with not enough students to create a proper childhood social experience.

I have a 3 year old attending the Early Education Program. The school has a very homey feeling which was what I was looking for and it has helped my child grow and develop emotionally and intellectually. The teachers are caring and knowledgeable and the school has a wonderful sense of community. If you are looking for small size classes, lots of green space, and a Christian approach to education I highly recommend this school.

I call this school my Little House in the Prairie School. Here are the reasons why. This school is very homey. Everyone is family here. The teachers are always looking out for the best interest for your child in an individual basis. The teachers, the staff, the principal (Mandy Diaz) are full of the love of the Lord. The academics are fantastic. My granddaughter started thriving when she came to this school. Now she is graduating with A's and B's! Love this school!

Monarch Christian School is the best place for your young one. MCS provides a great learning and caring environment for your infant, toddler, and pre-schooler as well as the academic rigor and resources for your elementary and soon middle school child. The teachers are both professional and loving. They demand excellence and work with the students to achieve it. Furthermore, they put God above all. If you're looking for a school that prioritizes faith and academics as a premium Monarch strikes the perfect balance.

This school has been a blessing to our family. The focus on both educational and spiritual excellence is one-of-a-kind. The school is committed to academic rigor, and the small classroom sizes make it possible. Both of our children in preschool and kindergarten have grown tremendously since they began attending. Everything from their self-confidence to expression has truly blossomed. What's most important though is that the school truly feels like a family AND the teachers love the children like family as well!

What a blessing Monarch has been to my family! As an educator, my expectations were high when we started in the Zebra class last year. I was nothing short of impressed with the balance of academic rigor, explorative play, Christian teaching and hands on opportunities. Our son has flourished here and has recieved the attention and care he desires. I am not kidding when I say every person on campus knows who my child is...Not because he is naughty ;0), but because they all take the time to interact as a community. The teachers and staff are exceptional! Caring, involved, dedicated, and educated would be just a few words I would use to describe them. You can tell when you step foot on campus that these lovely individuals have your child's best interest at heart. I have shared tears, laughs, family stories, child concerns and coffee with my son's teachers. They always have a moment to collaborate with parents in order to provide the best environment for each individual child. I can not praise Monarch enough and the positive impact it has had on my little boy. Mrs. Diaz and Miss Hannon are leading this school with true passion and expertise. I am truly SO grateful for Monarch and everyone who is part of this beautiful puzzle.

They say that it takes a village to raise a child, and, I believe that it does. However, not just any village will do. It takes a village that cares and has the ability to provide support, promote growth, accountability, and responsibility. It takes a village that can maintain a safe, trusting, positive environment. It takes a village that holds high the value of partnering with parents, community, and professionals in an ongoing attempt to listen to problems and trouble-shoot any difficulties that may arise. It takes a village that works as a team, utilizing the gifts of it's members and finding value in each person's differences. Of course, a framework of Biblical Christianity, prayers, values, and good communication are the cornerstones for the stability, continuity, and ongoing joy of this village. Our family has found Monarch Christian School to be such a village. In our past three years of attendance I have always been impressed with the excellence of teaching. The high academic standards and promotion of each child's learning style have always been evident. I have seen my grandson excel and develop his spirituality and character before my eyes. I am writing this because, as a grandparent and professional, I was deeply moved by Monarch's staff this year. My grandson was ill and out of school for twenty-one days. The head of the school, his teacher, and other staff partnered with me daily so that he could maintain his work and learning. With great sensitivity they helped to patiently integrate him back into class. This process took another month for him to bounce back to his natural self. Now, he is healthy, back on track, and excelling as he did before becoming ill. I am confident that my grandson will continue to thrive academically, spiritually, and physically at Monarch as he has for the previous three years. Thank you again and again to the school and family community that is Monarch Christian School. I am so glad that you are our village!

We are so thrilled to be part of the MCS family for the second year! Monarch has been a real blessing to us on so many levels. There is an overarching spirit of love, warmth, care, compassion and grace on campus. One can t help but smile when coming across other parents, staff and faculty. My son is currently in the 3rd grade class and my daughter graduated from Monarch last year. I ve come to know so many wonderful families and have enjoyed our time of fellowship during our daily drop off/pick up routines. It s a treat to practically know everyone on campus by name too! There were many times last year I was unable to pick up my kids on time because of my work schedule and I was able to lean on other moms to help me out. What a blessing! I have such peace of mind knowing that moms have a real desire to help each other. I m so grateful for Monarch: their strong academics, faith-based curriculum, moral standards and pursuit of excellence in all things. They are a wonderful asset to what we teach our kids at home.

Monarch is the perfect combination of educational excellence, out-of-the-box creative learning, and a place where kids build strong moral character. Until my wife and I found this place, I didn't believe it could exist! But it does. Every day my two kids attend this place, they become smarter, happier, more caring people. It's like no other school I've encountered, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

When our oldest son was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder, we knew the Christian learning environment he'd need just didn't exist in Los Angeles. When we attended the parent night for Monarch Christian School we both left stunned and tearful at God's grace. For three years we had been praying for a highly academic Christian school that would work with our son's sensory needs through a developmental/experiential curriculum, have small class sizes, and help develop social and moral character. Monarch Christian School checked every single box. We couldn't believe it. We are so grateful for our Monarch family. From the director to the teachers to the parents, it is a community devoted to loving and praying for our kids and preparing them to be Godly, caring, responsible, curious, problem-solving, young adults. Thank you Monarch!

This is our second year at Monarch, and we are delighted to be part of such a wonderful community and family. From the moment we entered the campus, we knew it was a special place. The children were happy and motivated to learn, the teachers were passionate and committed, the sense of community was abundant, and God's grace was everywhere. We knew instantly, we wanted to be part of it! It is important to preserve and build on the integrity of Monarch, so that other families can be blessed by the experience as well. Whether we donate through our time or monetary means, we are helping to grow our school, and build a legacy in education. To share the uncompromising standard of excellence in faith based education, values, and leadership, for many generations to come, would be a tremendous gift to our society. I still remember when my wife and I were deciding where to send our son for kindergarten. My wife had gone to an informational gathering and was excited about this new school called Monarch Christian School. I had my reservations because at that time, the school was just beginning. However, listening to the vision of Monarch and their uncompromising pursuit of spiritual growth and academic excellence led us to Monarch. Over the past 3 years, Monarch has grown dramatically with more students and faculty. We have also been blessed to move into a new facility that can accommodate this growth. The greatest testimony for our family is seeing our son love school. We look forward to the many things that God has in store for the future of Monarch Christian School as we Honor God, Pursue Excellence .

This is our 3rd year at Monarch and we highly recommend this school. It was founded 4 years ago on a vision of offering high achieving academics and Christian learning, where one is not compromised for another. The result is a strong community of families, exceptionally high test scores, some of the best teachers in the Valley, and a place where my kid feels safe, loved, and excited to go to school. Class sizes are smaller, which allows teachers to develop personal relationships with their students and tune in to their strengths and needs. It's a nurturing environment where every teacher knows my kid and he is being taught to lead. We transferred mid-year from another school and it was the best decision we ever made. This school is self-supporting (not tied to a church) and GROWING in a time when other private schools are struggling to maintain enrollment. We are only in our 2nd year at the old Chime campus in Chatsworth and there is still work to be done on the facilities, but look beyond the walls and focus on the experience your child will have and the teachers who will be helping raise your child up. That will make your decision to attend Monarch an easy one.

I cannot say enough good things about this school. Sending my daughter here is likely the single best decision I've made for her in life. The teacher's and families here are wonderful and there is a wonderful sense of community here. The education is top notch, and each teacher is truly teaching because it is their calling - not because it is their job. If you are looking for a quality Christian education, you cannot go wrong by choosing Monarch for your family

I feel so Blessed to be apart of the Monarch Christian School Family, not only as a parent of two children but also being apart of the staff. Each and every person on this staff has played in integral role in my children's lives academically, spiritually, physically and socially. The growth I see in them daily has everything to do with the care, diligence, and the drive their teachers have every day. Their ability to take every area of learning and elevate it with hands on experience is simply amazing. I couldn't imagine being at any other school. It is comforting to know that our Head of School and Board are being lead by the LORD and constantly seeking his direction. The Lords presence is undeniable here.

This is a wonderful school nestled in a beautiful area. The children have plenty of place to run around on a safe and clean campus. The curriculum is amazing, very well rounded and balanced. My child's teacher is wonderful, kind and caring. This is a school that has no tolerance for bullying. I am so happy to know that my child is in an environment that is academic, fun, safe and teaches her good manners and values. The director of the school is wise beyond her years. What an incredible smart caring woman! I am so happy we found this school, it is a true gem.
