We are absolutely in love with Alessandro! Both of our daughters attend, and we’re continually impressed by how engaged and involved the school is with each and every student. It feels like everyone knows everyone’s name. The sense of community is incredible, with so many events and celebrations bringing everyone together. They’ve truly built something special here. We’re so grateful this school is in our district and would highly recommend it!

Our daughter is finishing ETK here and have found the staff (teacher, principal, and admin) to be incredibly supportive. She enjoys each day, always has a lot to report, and is performing at or above all learning categories at this stage. We’re glad she’s also exposed to a much more diverse student population than she would be at other schools in the area, like Ivanhoe. She’s built close friendships with many children in her class and after school program. The after school program is super helpful with our work schedules and we’ve enrolled her in the magnet program for next year. It’s a lovely neighborhood school and would strongly recommend to other interested parents.

From etk to 5th grade!! This school has been a blessing and the magnet program has excelled my daughters learning a ton. It’s unfortunate that remote learning set us back a little bit but overall I find my daughter is thriving. She has made some good friends, the staff and every teacher have been phenomenal and open to discussion about any concerns. We’ve been through two principals and both have been really kind. As for Rosie in the office, she is a fixture at this school and takes good care of all the kids like they are her own. I was also surprised to read the review about not being accepted unless you’re Hispanic, that is ridiculous. We do not fall into that ethnicity and have been accepted here with open arms.

On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest I would definitely give it a 20! I'm so pleased with the office staff especially Ms. Rosie. She's very caring and treats those kids as her very own. All the teachers my child has encountered have been nothing but amazing.

Allesandro is an AMAZING educational place. My children have had an exceptional experience being part of the Allesandro Eagles.

This a great school. My 3 Kids attend here. I couldn't be happier with the staff and the warm friendly environment.

The staff is really rude. If you dont volunteer into there PTA or put your hours then you do not exits in this school. Clearly the Principal is run by the bullies of the staff in the office. Especially with a low character lady Rosie.

My son attended Allesandro for E-TK (program for children that don't make the TK deadline of Dec. 2nd). We went into Allesandro knowing we would only be there for a year and move on to our home school or a magnet but they made it really hard to leave! My son had the best first year in public school and made some amazing friends. The school puts on some great events (holiday program, career day, Intl festival) and the academics are great. I saw the Principal for months, every morning opening the car door for students and welcoming everyone in sight. The teachers and staff do such a great job of keeping parents informed and building an amazing community. We will miss Allesandro so much and know that if we had decided to stay, we would have spent many years happy there.

Could not be happier ,my darther has been here since pre k she is now in 5th we have had nothing but the best experience with the teachers and staff not to mention the friend we have made along the way .my son just started pre k and I can't wait to do it all over again .

Some male teachers I encountered had more issues with power struggles rather than developing rapport with students who challenged them. The homework (exception of 5th Grade Dr. Moya's class) seemed mostly unproductive with word searches and the like (endless alphabetical lists to complete). Good community effort, good administration but borderline verbal abuse from a teacher yelling at students and using inappropriate language were dismissed even when I complained. Dr. Moya is a wonderful gifted teacher.

We love Allesandro Elementary! Both my kids are attending and we couldn't be happier! The staff is very helpful and sharp! My kids are thriving at this school!

This is a good school for Spanish-speaking families. We struggled for acceptance here. The vice principle is hard to understand because his cent is so thick. Sorry that we don't speak Spanish. I never thought that my child's school experience would be adversely affected by this fact.

Allesandro Elementary School is a great school! My child attends this school and she loves it! The staff is fantastic overall! I am really content with how this school system is!

Allesandro is an awesome elementary school. Everyone is very friendly. There are incentives for students with perfect attendance.
