We have had children in the school district for 15 years. It has definitely gone down hill. This safe seat / buddy room does not work for every child but they do not seem to care. So my child sits in the principle office because he hasn't finished the assigned task. The anti-bullying / safety that the citys like to push has made it here. So school is where the kids feel least safe. The small town school feel is long gone.

I've never seen a place like Lone Jack Elementary!

I could not choose a better place for my kids to go to school. The community and school are so welcoming. The teachers do everything they can to provide the best education for the kids.

My family arrived in Missouri from out of state at the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year. We quickly discovered that Lone Jack Elementary is a sweet, safe place for our third grader. The school building itself is cheerful and colorfully decorated with lots of personal touches everywhere, and new construction is currently underway to add more classrooms. Compared to our previous school, the classes are smaller, and students received lots of personal attention. It didn't take long for our "new kid" to feel like part of the school culture. Beginning school during the age of Covid we wondered how the school year would look. Our daughter was able to attend school in person for the entire school year so far, while neighboring districts eliminated in-person instruction as an option for weeks on end. She looks forward to school each day, and both her teacher and the principal have earned our full confidence.

We moved to Lone Jack from Lee's Summit 3 years ago. I couldn't be happier with our move. I love the small town feel and how we support each other! My kids have the opportunity to be involved in anything their heart desires! I love that about our small town, I feel the teachers know my kids as a person and not just another kid passing through. I feel supported and loved here! I couldn't recommend Lone Jack C6 enough!

Lone Jack Elementary is AMAZING. I have two children in the elementary school and couldn't be more pleased. Their teachers truly care for them and I feel like it's a family centered environment. I feel so lucky that they can attend this school.

There have been 3 generations of my family attend these schools. Your kids aren't just a number here. They are given much more individualized instruction than the bigger schools in the surrounding towns. It is growing by leaps and bounds but still has that small town feel. I would highly recommend this school!

Lone Jack has always been good to my children. Both have had special needs in their educational experience and their needs have been met with positivity and cooperation.

Would give negative starts if I could. My son was bullied by students and faculty. Graffiti about my autistic son was left on bathroom walls for months. The Special Education director actually yelled at my son in a parent teacher conference. Finally gave up and moved to another school district where my son is excelling. In short, don't move to Lone Jack unless you have no children, because the school system is worse than useless.
