My son has been enrolled at Rosebud since kindergarten and he is now in the second grade and it has been amazing watching him attend this school. The level of support that the teachers and staff provide is greatly appreciated. He is learning extremely well. The communication and parent engagement that they offer is great. I am so thankful that I made the decision to enroll him here instead of the charter and private schools I was thinking about!

Our experience at Rosebud Elementary School has been an extremely positive one. Since transferring to this school our child has excelled. Her teacher Mrs. Martin has made a positive impact on her life. This teacher is a true inspiration to my child, myself and countless others. The principal Ms. Holmes and the amazing staff at Rosebud Elementary genuinely love and care about the wellbeing of each and every student. What more can you ask for from your educational institution than for your child to be safe, supported and led down the road to academic excellence. What a wonderful principal, what a wonderful teacher, what wonderful staff. I am thankful to have found this school. God bless all at Rosebud Elementary.

My daughter started Rosebud in Kindergarten. She's now in 2nd grade. The Educators, Administrators, and Transportation staff have been wonderful. I have never had a question go unanswered or a issue without a resolution. I appreciate all that is being done for the education and safety of my child and all the others. Great Job Rosebud and GCPS bus staff.

Rosebud elementary school is an excellent school. My daughter is doing well, she is reading above her grade level. She loves going to school and attending activities. The principal is attentive and she has been very supportive.

Rosebud Elementary is dedicated to increasing student achievement by pursuing a partnership with parents, teachers, students, and the community. My son is enjoying coming to school and has the perfect teachers/teaching styles for the way he learns best. Thank you to Rosebud's faculty, staff, and leadership.

Rosebud Elementary’s staff works hard to create a community that feels welcoming to all families. During my son’s 4 years at Rosebud, all of his teachers (and support staff) have gone the extra mile to create engaging content that keeps him and other students engaged in and excited about learning. The staff really makes an effort to build relationships with each student and their family. Rosebud also provides a variety of clubs and other activities for students to expand their learning outside the classroom. Lastly, there are many opportunities for families to engage with the school outside the basic hours and curriculum. These opportunities allow families to get to know other Rosebud families and staff, which grows our community at large and allows us to work together toward our common goal of enriching our children’s lives.

My family was new to this branch of the local school system and we were overwhelmed with the welcoming feel we received from staff, teachers, and most of all, the administration. I experienced a strong display of team and community. The day to day seemed very organized and planned out. we had to participate in car rider on various occasions, and i do not know who was more nervous about parting ways between myself or my student, but the staff addressed that concern right away and made sure my young student was escorted to their classroom as they are too young to navigate the hallways by themselves. their teacher was very organized at orientation and set clear expectations for my student and our role as parents. my student comes home every day and has something wonderful to tell me about their day. i would recommend this school to families and other prospective teachers. it looks like a wonderful place to work. thank you Rosebud Elementary, your staff makes the difference!!

Rosebud Elementary is an awesome school. The teachers and staff care. Every morning, I am greeted with a smile by the principal, counselors, and teachers who work the car rider section. The front office registrar is very nice and personable, but the teachers at Rosebud Elementary are the HEART of the school. My daughter's teacher, Ms. Slieff, is such a phenomenal teacher. She is approachable and does not hesitate to keep me informed about my child's academic and behavioral progress. My child has learned a lot this year. The administration is so down-to-earth. This is a family environment. I feel good knowing that my child is in good hands. The facility is clean, bright, and welcoming. I could not have picked a better school for our daughter. The staff at Rosebud are advocates for student achievement, but they really do care about the kids.

Great school! The staff us phenomenal. The principal was very professional and eager to answer all questions. I would highly recommend this school to any parent who wants there child to get a good Start in there education.

Horrible administration, director is very rude and unprofessional, the counselor kept blowing me off about a major problem my child was having with the other children. The older kids kept calling my child “white girl”. The kids in her class are mean and disrespectful.

Amazing teachers and principal @Rosebud Elem. Congratulations especially to Mrs. Tafesewarq 2nd Grade class for an amazing 2021-2022 school year. Teachers like her who cares; goes more than above and beyond and that’s why she is great.

Thank GOD this will be all of my children's last year at this school. I give credit to the teacher's my children have had. I can even say one from last year was my favorite person, key word "person" but terrible at teaching. Sweet as pie but my child got so behind. The administration is terrible! They put on an act like they care but after speaking to a dear friend close to such administration, found out they will talk behind your back and play dirty when it comes to PTA. This school is a disgrace! They can't even keep up with state testing scores from last year, much less current year! Did I mention they made the news for letting the wrong child leave the school? Google that! Just one hot mess at Rosebud. I am embarrassed my children go to this school. When other parent's ask me where my children attend, I lie. That's just sad that I even have to lie about where they go to school. Communication is terrible with this school. Teacher's are forced to make up for what the last teacher didn't teach and God forbid your child have special needs to which requires extra help! Good luck getting help period for a regular functioning child that attends! I'll end this by saying if you ever have a problem, go to Mrs. Burton. She actually cares. The rest put on a dog and pony show. Rating? Do I have too? I'll give it a 1 because it's the lowest number I can give due to low test scores, my children are not learning, administration is terrible when concerned problems arise, bullying is terrible and not dealt with, funding is low, PTA is a joke, just an all around low class school to which your child will not benefit from, period.
