This school has changed drastically from what the older reviews reflect. As a parent, I have witnessed a lack of communication, rushed meetings that exclude parents, and a disciplinary system that does not prioritize student growth. The administration has mishandled important concerns, including failing to provide the necessary support for students’ well-being.The school’s approach to discipline feels outdated, focusing more on control and punishment rather than mentorship and development. When I was unable to attend an important ARD meeting due to a medical emergency that required me to be at the hospital, the school went ahead without me instead of rescheduling. This shows they do not prioritize parental involvement in crucial decisions about a child’s education.Additionally, when my child expressed serious emotional distress in writing, instead of ensuring appropriate intervention and support, the school rushed a meeting and expected me to bring his personal notebook—without demonstrating a well-thought-out plan for how they would truly help.Parents considering this school should take note that most of the positive reviews are 7+ years old and do not reflect the current administration or practices. I strongly encourage families to speak with current parents and students before making a decision.”

We love this school! Everyone is so nice, my daughter enjoys going to school everyday! The learning experience from the homework assigned and activities I see coming home are great!

Both of my kids have gone through Brent elementary, and they are by far the sweetest most loving teachers, staff. Could not be more grateful for the school. They really outdid my expectations.

My daughter had a good experience and even got extra help to get her to the level needed for her grade level. I saw the difference with that assistance. I do wish I was told prior just so that I could of been aware sooner. But overall my daughter has been getting what she needs and I do like the teachers and staff.

My daughter has attended Brent Elementary since Kindergarten and is now finishing the 5th grade. They have handled her personal challenges with care and concern, encouraged her learning effectively, and overall, just watched out for her as an individual. I'm very pleased as a parent with her time at Brent.

Great school. The teachers and the principal are what make the school so wonderful. My children are very happy here and are achieving at a high level. I highly recommend Brent.

I didn't know what to expect going in, I was worried because we were moving our daughter from Montessori Kinder and a class of 12 to a much larger campus and class. We have been SO happy with Brent Elementary. We absolutely love the teachers and staff. My daughter is happy and well taken care of every day. She is learning so much and Mrs. Petrasic has Shout out to my ladies in the drop off line every morning - Ya'll are unsung heroes and you rock! Every kids day starts with your smiling faces and upbeat attitudes.

The teachers, staff, and administrators have kids best interest and their education as a priority. All kids matter to them and it comes through in everything they do.

The teachers and students at Brent are wonderful! Everyone is respectful and helpful. All three of my children are thriving. We came from Frisco, and the schools were fine, but Brent is a step above because everyone is so caring. Brent is a real community.

I am happy that my kids have the opportunity to attend Brent Elementary. My 5th grader has been there since Kinder and I have a 2nd grader now as well. All of their teachers have exceeded my expectations and both kids are working well above grade level. The small town school offers a security that you may otherwise lose in a very large school. With our growing district, class sizes have remained manageable and each year improvements have been made to both the curriculum and the campus.

Love my Brent Family...the last of my 4 kiddos is there and Brent just keeps getting better! All of the teachers and staff are very approachable and wiling to do whatever it takes to help my kids succeed.

The teachers and the principal make Brent a warm, family like place for all the students. My children love going to school and really like their teachers. The parents are friendly too. We have been super pleased.

It's so hard to get in touch with staff or get information without having to drive there in person ...emails are never replied, calls never returned. Communication needs to improve

Great school!! Principals and teachers really put the students first. Have been very happy with all staff. So friendly and transparent. Willing to always help and whenever I have a concern, always willing to listen and find a solution. I asked about the mops and actually, they only use certain mop heads for the tables to clean them off faster in between lunches ( and these are washed regularly as well) They DO NOT use the ones from the floor as previously (and wrongly) stated by other parent!! Maybe they should have just asked instead of posting wrong information??

The absolute worst school my children have ever attended. They have always been in exemplary schools. This place is a total mess. They are unorganized and behind compared to our previous schools. One of my children didn't even have a room mother and not one of the parents showed up for the class party. The janitor MOPS... yes mops the lunch tables. If your child happens to be one of the last in the lunch line the teachers are already bringing the trash cans around to clear the tables.They dont have a chance to eat. My child has also been physically bullied. I have voiced concern for these and other issues with the teachers and principal.They always promise to call me back but never do. It is a shame. I will be withdrawing my children so they get the care and education they deserve.
