The loving teachers at Bits & Bytes provided my daughter a top-notch education. She attended Bits & Bytes from K5 - 5th grade and she is more than prepared for middle school. Bits & Bytes's loving discipline and sound curriculum are a breath of fresh air in DeKalb County.

My child is entering his 4th year in the multigrade and his final year at B&B. He has received an exceptional education during his tenure. His test scores have constantly been in the top 2% in the country. B&B is extremely competitive among the metro area independent schools. This is evident in my child's acceptance into the A Better Chance program which has presented him with the opportunity to go to a variety of AAIS schools. The program is a rigorous program to gain acceptance and because his teacher and principal care so much they have written recommendation letters and held weekend tutoring session to ensure his success on the SSAT. If you want a place that nurtures and challenges your child this is the place to be.

The Teachers are awesome and creative. Love the small student/teacher ratio. However, the multi grade approach lacks structure. K3 through 2nd grade is the way to go if you are willing to deal with the poor interpersonal skills of the owner.

The best start for a child's education. My son graduated from Bits & Bytes LC in 2008 functioning at a 1.5 grade level above his enrolled grade, as well as scoring in the upper 98 percentile on ALL standardized tests. Throughout his time spent at Bits & Bytes, the teachers always put the children's development first. The chosen curriculum and teaching methods are proven effective when I witnessed more than a large number of children, enrolled, were scoring in the upper 90+ percentile. It is my firm belief that due to the foundation established at Bits & Bytes, which includes my parental involvement; my son will skip a full HS grade level and is enrolled in AP classes. I firmly stand behind the educational foundation my son received and encourage any parent who desires to give their child the best start, to take the time to visit and consider enrollment. JHightower

Bits and Bytes Academy offers parents the best education at an affordable price. My child is a former student only because the school does not extend to middle and high school. The teachers, staff and owners are awesome people who put kids and their education first. Students consistently rank in the 90th percentile on national standardized test and excel at other schools after graduating from BNB. I recommend everyone to this school. It is also worth noting that parents who withdraw their children for whatever reason often return to BNB.

This is an excellent school with extremely rigorous academics. There is a lot of homework and testing, but it pays off. My child attended Bits & Bytes for several years and we had a great experience. Our expectations were surpassed as our child performed in the 98 and 99 percentile on the IOWA test. At first we were unsure about the multigrade class, but after our child's performance, we were very pleased. The teachers have high expectations and standards for the children. The owner puts her money where her mouth is, when it comes to expectations, as her son attended Harvard University (I think he graduated magna cum laude) and is now at Stanford Medical School. Isn't that what education should be? Check it out!

My child attended this school from age 2-4. Initially, I was impressed with the staff and family-like atmosphere and overlooked certain flaws within the school. When I addressed a concern with the owner, I was greeted with an unprofessional response. It was a difficult decision to leave because my child loved the teacher but in the end, the owner's lack of professionalism drove us to find another school for our child..

This is an very excellent school. The staff and the parents are great I would highly recommend this school to anyone who wants their child to succeed. If you want your children to learn in a nurturing environment then this is the school for you. The hardest part for me was pulling my kids out because of our relocation and I'm having a hard time trying to find a school that can come close to Bits and Bytes. My family and I will always love the staff and students at Bits and Bytes.

I fell in love with the school because I was so impressed with the tour, the students, and the owner. My daughter began at 2 years old and it was not a good experience for her because her teacher, although new to Bits & Bytes, was very unprofessional. When I finally brought it to the attention of the owner, I did not feel I received the support I should have and we moved our daughter.
