This school is terrible just because they have a new principal does not mean the new principal is gonna do his job which he doesn’t. He allows his employees to disrespect the parents of the students and all he does is say he’s gonna talk to them, but the employee still continues to be disrespectful. The children aren’t learning anything and anyone could put fake reviews of saying that the school is so great in all of that this school is a terrible school if I was able to send my son to a private school I definitely would this school needs to be closed down. The principal and the assistant principal are very disrespectful and nonchalant. They treat the parents like they’re one of the kids thinking that they can say what they wanna say to you and you’re supposed to accept it like you’re one of the students rather than a parent, you ask the teachers to let you know if your children are having a hard time to give you a call. They never call you. They rather watch your child fail and give you on the report card of failing grade rather than let you know ahead of time that hay, your child is not doing so good. You might wanna work on they don’t do that. They have fun watching a child fail rather than help a child and I have no respect for the principal nor the assistant principal because the head principal, Mr. Clouser allows, his assistant principal to yell at other parents, and when they bring it to his attention, he does nothing about it.Dekalb County is gonna always be a terrible school system. I wouldn’t recommend this school to anybody even if they stay next-door to the School.Georgia cyber Academy is the best!! it’s sad that a child can learn better from a teacher over the computer than they can from a teacher standing right in their face.. i’m so over Dekalb school system. Well, I’m looking into suing the School for all the neglect and disrespect.

They changed everything they now have fresh new floors and my daughter is on a higher level than before and she also loves the trailers that they have in the back of the school.

This school doesn’t deserve a rating. They need to close their doors and revamp everything. They need a whole new staff. They need to do a spring cleaning and they need new furniture. This is by far the worst school my children have ever attended. They’ve been exposed to cursing and fighting which is something that I’ve tried to protect them from.

1/10. I only give it a 1 because it was somewhere to take your child while you work, that's it. I wouldn't recommend it to a dog. Its dirty, kids aren't learning, school uniform policy isn't enforced, lack of communication from school, teachers lazy, etccccx.

The school does the best it can, but when you have nonchalant parents who does not care about the child education or behavior it can be a bit challenging for kids who want to learn, since my child been going off & on for 3years his teachers have been very attentive to his education. Thanks Mr. Moore 2nd grade teacher you are AWESOME,, thanks Mr. Lopez for going above and beyond helping with what you can, Ms. Allen-Vera you will never be forgotten being my son kindergarten teacher,, as we depart our ways from Fairington Elementary,, I thank you all for doing your best. I know it is very challenging dealing with what you have to deal with.. I applaud you'll.. Continue to have a GREAT year,, and again special thanks to Mr. Moore 2nd grade... AWESOME TEACHER

If you like for your kid to be in over-crowded and small class with foul mouth elementary school children, then Farington is your school. The teachers have to spend more time screaming at these kids than teaching. The teachers try but don't get much help from the parents or Decatur school system. My daughter came from a school in another state and needles to say this second grader really disliked this school and the kids. Honestley, I did too. Also watch out in the morning while getting on the bus these kids will run you over and have no problem cutting in front of other better behaved kids. If you have children that you want properly educated, this school is not for you.

Just withdrew my son from this school because we moved, in the beginning it was a challenge because the administrators and staff have so many different personalities to deal with but once they get to know you and your character you will get treated with the respect you deserve. The school is not responsible for fully educating your child it starts at home with the parents, need I say more, thanks Mr. Lopez went out his way when I ran outta gas thanks officer Russell for keeping my child safe and Ms. V Allen thank you for being a great teacher for the short time my child was there in kindergarten, take care u guys and continue to strive for the BEST

This principal for this school is horrible. If you ask him a question, he directs you to someone else every time. I had a problem when my child's teacher was out for 3 weeks and there was no homework, no notice given to the parents. And he wouldn't address it, he sent to the school counselor...........he ramble on and on about nothing. The playground area is unsafe and there loose concrete as you walk back there. There are some great teachers there. My issues were not with the teachers, but with Administration-Principal, Asst. Principal, and Counselors they all are horrible! They are to busy being rude, not addressing critical matters in the school, and always blaming another party. Whatever, success the school is having trust me it the parents and teachers making it happen.

My son attends this school as of this year and is frequently bullied by other kids. I've reported this bullying a couple of times to the Principal and written notes to the teachers and the same bullies continue to threatens to cause severe harm to my child. The first month of attendance, my son was punched in the mouth and made his lip bleed. The children uses curse words in front of adults and I did not hear a staff member correct that child from speaking profanity language. After the holidays of this year, I will be tranferring my son to a better school. I recommend that you do not bring your child to this school unless your child is "hardcore".

The one star is great exaggeration. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL. The principal, Mr. Jenkins is as sorry as they get. No communication whatsoever. When asked questions, he never gives direct answers, and gives blank stares. Does he even know how to speak in complete comprehensible sentences? The children and parents are off the chain. I withdrew my children after being bullied and the principal doing NOTHING about it.
