I have 2 daughters that have excelled academically and socially. Principal Nester is awesome! She is a leader that truly listens to everyones concerns, and when she says she will take care of something - she does! Teachers are wonderful too - especially Ms Hanle and Mrs Darlington and Mr Blaum

I have had two students attend this school. My son's experience was not so great; however, the staff have made it a totally different experience for my daughter. Especially, Mrs. Darlington has made a very positive difference for my daughter, she has really made her look forward to her class. My daughter is always saying how much she loves her class.

So, I'm one of the French student who are come et this school during a trip to visit South Carolina, and I prefer this one versus French schools where I went during my scolarship. I think it's really a very good school.

Long story short, my daughter started school here after starting at a different Lex1 middle school due to a change in area of house buying. I was worried because she had spent her first eight days at another Lex1 middle school after making a long cross-country move from Texas after Christmas. I can't say enough about how helpful this school was in helping my daughter transition. Much more so than her other middle school in Lex1. Her school counselor, Mr. D., has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make sure she has been comfortable and adjusting well. And this is only his first year as a school counselor! And the school offers a HUGE variety of after school teacher sponsored clubs. Absolutely LOVE, LOVE LMS!!!!

I have a 12 year old in the 6th grade & a 13 year old in the 7th grade. We moved here from Florida 5 years ago. This school is clean and the principal is amazing and very warm and loving with the children. mr. Polk the band teacher I can't say enough good things about him. Mrs. Moore the guidedance teacher has been so helpful and so good to my children. She has been on top of all of my concerns. I am so grateful and blessed to have chosen this area to live in. my children atend a wonderful school. Thank you to all staff ! Trilla

This is my son's second year at Lexington Middle School and I love this school. I moved from Richland County. I must say that the assistant principal Mr. Shealy kept me informed of my son's behavior. The teachers were on top of things and kept me informed. They always returned my calls and emails. This school was a good choice for my son. He has improved in his academics and personal growth. My son J. Williams is well known at this school and loves all of the faculty and staff. Thanks to Lexington Middle School for being my son's second family and a BIG thanks to all of the teachers for all that you do!!
